By now I'm sure most of you have heard about the drama with Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien and NBC. There's rumors flying left and right about Jay "replacing" Conan again in the late night time slot, Conan's last Tonight show being next week and Conan going to do a show on Fox instead. If you could choose, who would you pick to host the Tonight show? Jay Leno, or Conan O'Brien or even Jimmy Fallon? I would definately NOT pick Conan...idk I just think he's really creepy and obnoxious. I'm not particularly a fan of Jay Leno, but I enjoy watching him the most out of all the late night hosts. I think Jimmy Fallon's kind of cute, but I don't know if he'd be that great as the Tonight show host. w

this is a battle of the comedys this is not funny. i think jay leno has a frickle minded. he gave something away then wanted it back. thats what i heard and saw on tv when i saw this news at the insider. he gave way for conan then now wanted that slot he gave to conan. it waskind of wierd when people give then want back what they gave already. i work at nights so i dont have the chance to wacth the show so i can not really choose if i like jay or conan

I like your point of view, but I really enjoy Conan's show because its funny and he has the hair you know xD. And I'm not sure if hes going to do a show in Fox because no one has hired him yet, some rumors say that hes going to work for HBO; who knows so anyways I hope he does well on others channels.

I think the "Tonight Show" is an American institution and each of its long time hosts has made it his own. I remember thinking it couldn't go on without Johnny Carson but I know many thought the same about Jack Paar and Steven Allen before him. I guess now I feel kind of "betrayed" since I felt so sad when Jay left, although I knew he was going to still be on TV each night. Now it's as if all of that "hullaballoo" leading up to his "final" appearance was meaningless. I like Conan alright but I'm not what you'd call a huge fan. I used to watch Jay every night and flip back and forth now and then to catch part of Letterman's show. Since Jay left I've watched Dave more and made up my mind based on who the guests were more often than not. Anyway, I'd have to say Jay is more "suited" to "Tonight" since he's made it his own through all the years he's been on. However, I DO feel very bad for Conan! I just heard NBC will be buying out his contract so he sure won't ever hurt for money but I know he'd waited for all those years to get a chance to live his dream of hosting the "Tonight Show" so he must feel pretty heartbroken right now. If I had to choose it would be Jay. I do not watch it much, but when I do I liked Jay. He seems to me to do the much better job. I guess they will get this straighten out. I just wonder if they are doing to boost the ratings, I would not put it pass them. Have a great day.

Jay shouldn't have left when he did. NBC was the one who made him retire but at the same time they were selfish and didn't want him to go to another network. The ratings for both Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien were much higher before the move. While I kind of feel that Jay Leno has plenty of money and should consider retiring but I didn't care for the Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon late night lineup. I liked Conan in the older spot and I can't really get into Jimmy Fallon.

I don't think they are rumors anymore. It was announced on the TODAY show that Conan was out and that Jay was back. Conan was not going to settle for being pushed back 30 minutes so that Jay could be on at 11:35. Not a huge fan of any on the NBC late night guys. I usually watch David Letterman because I like his top 10 list.
