Do you think that Republican Scott Brown will win Ted Kennedy's Senate seat in Massachusetts? I find it quite amazing that his poll numbers have skyrocketed. (Thank goodness). Do you think that President Obama's decision to go and campaign on behalf of the Democrat candidate Martha Coakley will help or be harmful? Do you think this makes the President look desperate? Do you think if Scott Brown does in fact win the Senate seat that it will send a loud message to Washington about what direction the Amercian people want this country to move towards?

At this point I have no idea WHAT to think! There are polls that show Brown ahead and polls that show Coakley ahead so it's anybody's guess as to what the FINAL poll and the only one that counts will be. I don't think President Obama's visit to the state will HURT but I'm not sure how much it will help. He won't be so much trying to get swing voters or to change the minds of those planning on voting for Brown as trying to excite the base since it all may hinge on the Democratic turnout. I sure wouldn't say it makes him look desperate since he's only doing what Presidents often do. I mean, yes, this seat is important to him and the Democrats so he'd be remiss if he didn't do whatever he could.
Who can say for sure what it means if Brown wins. Maybe it will mean he "stole" some of the female vote from Coakley because of his Cosmo centerfold...lol...or maybe it will just mean she ran a lousy campaign. I don't know that it will any indication of what the American people in general want since every state and, in fact, every voter is unique and have their own reasons for the way they vote.

I certainly hope that he does! I don't think Obama is going to help Coakley. The people supporting Brown are supporting a vote against Obamacare. And, yes, I think it makes the president look desperate.
The Dems are losing their foothold, slowly but surely. The only thing that will stop that is strong armed gangster type of persuasion. We shall see.

In a state that is so heavily Democrat it's amazing that he's doing so well... but Coakley from what I've researched so far has a great deal that voters will be against. I was shocked that Obama went on the campaign trail yet again... I don't recall... Did Bush ever do anything like that while president? I mean this just seems strange. Well Obama didn't make a difference in New Jersey. I don't think he can help but that all depends on how popular is the healthcare bill in Massachusetts? Nationwide it's not. I hope Scott Brown wins.
