HI all myloters, This is my first disscussion for the new year and the first for a long while. I now have a new cell phone and it is my frist one ever. I have used cell phones before but there were company phones and I could use them for some personal use but it was very limited. One day my supervisor told me I would need to get my own phone for persoal use, this is becase I will be quiting my curent job and relocating sometime soon. So the other day I went to a local mobile phone store and talked to a sales rep and told him my situation and I will able to purche one then and there. I deceded to get get the best priceing plan for me and it includes unlited texting. I have never been into texting but my gf does it all the time. she wanted me to get a plan with texting. I texted her for the first time an it was great, like sending mini e-mails to one another. the phone feathers a mp3 player on it but I have no music to download. there is a camera phone on it and I can send pics to her via text messige. Howver I am not set up for internet on the phone, it would had cost me more if I did.
How aobut yourslef? Do you have a cell phone? Do you like using it? what feathers do you have? do you like to text messige? Do you use it for internet? Or do you just talk on it?

cheers to your new phone!
i've got n95 for nearly 3 years now. i've dropped it more than a hundred times and each time, i had to pick up the three pieces: the phone, the battry and the cover LOL! it's still working and can take photos, videos, send multimedia via bluetooth, play and record sound/music, has a torch and send/receive sms and call.
i don't use it to browse the internet through. only for receiving messages from ym.
i call more than i send sms. you see the message for my boyfriend went to a different number. also calls is much cheaper than sending sms in thailand.

I have a new cellphone like about 4 months old. I did not buy this one with my own money but I got this from the provider and so far it is okay. It has a camera and all the basic things I want with a phone so it is okay. I bought my first ever phone with my money 2 years back and now it is sick. It got really broken and would like to have it fixed but it is so expensive to have it fixed so for the mean time it will rest in peace.

I mostly talk, a little interneting - very helpful the day I ended up in the hospital, let me tell you, started a discussion from the phone there! Also could call my roomie, my brother, my sister, my dentist (well, I did have an APPOINTMENT that day!!!) But the roomie's folks came and took it because she was afraid someone would steal it. So when I went to get out, I had to use the room phone to call the roomie so she could call a friend to pick me up... that's a funny story all on its own - seems I posted about it - hummm have to find that...

I had lots of mobile phones before. The one I'm using now is my 14th. When I was in the Philippines I used it mainly for text messaging and occasional calls. Now, I use it mainly for calls because it is much cheaper than sms. There are times when I surf or use it to take pics when I don't have my camera with me.
