did they skip an episode?

ok so before they went on break for christmas christian proposed to kimber and she had an abortion that made it impossible for her to have kids ever.... episode was over... took 2 weeks off for christmas and when it came back on christian and kimber were married but ...where the hell was the wedding? i have loved this show since it first started and its a big deal to me that we didnt get to see christian and kimber finally tie the knot.. it feels like they totally just skipped an episode or something.. anyone agree?

Originally the episode before Christmas was supposed to be the Season 6 finale and Nip/tuck was not supposed to come back until January 2011 for the final season--season 7. FX then changed their mind and decided to bring back Nip/tuck a year early to air the final episodes. You may have noticed in the recent episode the guy who was in a coma said he slipped into it in 1989 and was in a coma for 22 years. Well for those who are poor at math 1989-2010 is 21 years, but had the episode aired in 2011 as originally planned it would have been 22 years. So yes it felt like time had elapsed and there were several jumps, but that was intentional.

but that still doesnt make sence to me... why would they skip christian and kimbers wedding? lol its kind of a big deal. lol
