I have dropped my cellphone in the toliet by accident. I was leaning over the toliet and my phone was in my poket and it fell in the toliet. The worst part was it went right down the hole. When this happened I was at my boyfriends moms house and when I told her she was very upset! She thought she was going to call a plumber. Lucklily her boyfriend was home and tried to pull it out and he did get out. When he pulled it out it had crap all over it. I felt bad for him because it was crappy for him. Needless to say I had to get a new phone!

Hi, tuckersheri. No, my cell phone has never fell in the toilet before. But it has hit the hard floor and ground many of times. Luckily, it did not break! I have dropped an bible in the toilet one time. It was an bible that this man gave to my husband. He had to end up buying another brand new bible after this. He was so upset about his bible too. I am sorry that you had to buy a whole new cell phone. Things like this can be very uncomfortable when it happens.

Oh, sorry to hear that. I have never dropped my cell phone into the water, but I know someone who did, almost the same incident like you, but this woman was always very busy with her phone even when she was in the toilet. So, one day she accidentally dropped it right into the toilet bowl as well. Of course she was shocked for a while and didn't know what to do, but then when she forced herself to pick it up, it was already too late. So, I always remind myself to be very careful with the cell phone and put it nicely inside my bag as I'm afraid I might drop it especially inside the public toilet. Ewww!

Yes, multiple times, lucky for me, back then I had an older Nokia. I dropped it in a tiolet at least once, into a pond once, and subjected it to multiple excursions in the rain. Besides that, it's been subjected falls from two-stories high and dirt bike rides.
It survived. At one point I had to buy new casing for it, but it did a great job for many years.

nope i have never dropped my phone in water before, but i know people who have. They say it didn't work but when they put it on the radiator to dry out it worked again, apparently. Im not sure whether to believe this but i guess it may have done :D

No I havent dropped my cellular phone in the water. But I knew someone close to me dropped his phone in the water two 3 years ago. What he did was he immediately removed it from water, wipe the cellphone carefully with soft and absorbent cloth then removed the battery pack and let it dry in the air. Fortunately the phone is still working. I think the old models of cellphone are more tough and durable compared to new models nowadays.

I used to put my phone on the top of the toilet cistern and of course when it vibrated through a text or call it dropped down into the toilet I had one of thoses moments when for some reason you just dont move and I just looked at the blue glow under the water then fished it out, it luckily dried on the radiator each time the final time however it was gone, took me a few lessons and eventually I learnt lol..

Well, i haven't but here's the thing, even if our phone fell in water it can still survive.
First things first don't try to turn it on because it would only cause a short circuit and completely destroy your phone.
Take out the battery shake the water off then put the battery in a ziploc full of rice grains and leave it there for 3 days, the rice would absorb the water.
Also, put your phone in another ziploc with rice grains too and leave it for 3 days too.
I swear your phone would survive the accident.

I remember coming close once. I was at the pool and I was talking on my phone. A woman near me started to freak out because she had convinced herself, that if I did drop said device that the battery was powerful enough to short-curcut and eletricute her so she said some nasty things and ran off. I simply shook my head.
Though when I first met my partner we were out to eat, and he or I knocked over my soda and gave my phone a soda bath. Not plesent.

that's horrible and embarrasing!!!! I dont think I'd be brave enough to tell them that, I don't know what'd I'd do!!! I have never dropped my phone in waterm (I've come close to it), but I've had several friends who have. They all just opened it, shook all the water out, and left it outside to dry, and viola! Still working.
