what if you are used to tea/coffee early morning everyday when you get up and then one day you cannot follow this regime- maybe due to some important event or you are too busy rushing for want of time etc. Do you get upset, or feel that you are missing, or get upset later ....How do you cope up with this.
I have gone through this couple of times as i had to rush at some last minute problem solving and then much later after almost 2 hrs noticed I did not have my tea of early morning - couple of times got me irritated at this too!!!

This doesn't happen to me. I'm always up at least 3 hours before hand , so I make certain that I have enough time to enjoy my coffee. I have to take care of my animals that's why I get up earlier.

Nothing short of the end of the world (It's not 2012 yet is it?? ) will cause me to miss my morning coffee. I'm liable to get very cranky if I miss my morning coffee

Hi udayrao
I too belong to South India but I don't drink coffee or tea, I really don't know the tastes of both the drinks. I don't take anything in the early morning as I don't have a habit of drinking tea/coffee from my childhood. I drink a glass of milk either in the morning or in the night before going to bed. I don't feel anything even if I don't drink tea. But I prepare tea for my husband. I have seen many people suffering from headache if they don't have tea or coffee in the morning. Have a nice day.

Oh no, missing my wake-up coffee is NOT an option! It isn't going to happen, regardless of the circumstances. I even set the timer on my coffee pot.
My name is LaDeBoheme and I am a caffeine addict. Yes, it's true. I do suffer from caffeine headaches and I am a b*tch (is that allowed at myLot? better play it safe) if deprived of coffee.
Not just morning either, afternoon, evening, whenever.
I WANT MY COFFEE!

WoW and people think I got coffee issues. I too get caffeine headaches if I don't have coffee for too long. I am also have been a morning, afternoon, and evening drinker. I cut down with coffee substitutes like roasted dandilion root & vanilla chi teas. These worked good because they go good with milk and get that creamy coffee texture. A mellow tea sipping may help crankiness too.

I can miss my coffee, but I can't miss the whole breakfast. A day that starts without breakfast is a bad day. I get hungry and tired quite fast then, and if I won't have a chance to have a lunch in time too, then my day will be ruined completely.

hi udayrao2,
My morning breakfast will always be accompanied by a cup of coffee or tea.Sometime may missed it due to some unforeseen circumstances,my heart sank but i try not to think of it.Instead i try to have one during lunch time.
If there's a day where i did not manage to drink coffee/tea,i take it as a motivational step or a compliment for myself because i realised that i can control my day's activities without any caffeine.bye

Hi, In the Morning, I need a cup of Tea. Then I start my work. If I Don't get this, If I am busy, no problem, but, if Not then the irritation starts. Until I am getting Tea from Any where (maybe in Office/ Home or may be from Shop). That's all.

I am a coffee addict so if I can't have it first thing in the morning I feel stress out throughout the day.I feel energy loss, my head is aching and it feels like there's something lacking in my day. That's why I always make sure I have coffee every morning.

I would invest in the Keurig coffee machine, if you have the money. Its a single serving coffee machine and has lots of coffee flavors to chose from (including many kinds of tea) Its so much faster and easier than the traditional coffee brewers. My husband works at a kitchen store so we got 20% off ours, but believe me its worth the money. Oh and also buy a nice travel mug or two so you can just take it out the door on your way out!

I don't want to even think about that day! If I was to suddenly experience this then I really would be depressed! I cannot live without tea, I don't like coffee! When I drink tea, it's like a routine that I have to stick to now and it would feel very strange not indulging myself with tea in the mornings. I think there's a certain truth that the more you drink tea the more you become addicted to it! This isn't neccessarily a bad thing although if you take a break from it then I guess you really do start to feel the effects! Now that I think about this I'm sure it happened some time ago and I perhaps recall experiencing an uncomfortable headache! I always make sure that my stocks are high in relation to tea, sugar and milk! Andrew

When this has happened I have ended up buying tea from some vending machine in the way or from some convenience store. I can't start the day without drinking tea, otherwise I will feel like I'm missing something.

I usually have a drink of coffee when i wake up on morning but if i don't it doesn't really make much difference, i can live without it. Sometimes i get up too late and don't have time and then other times i just choose not to have a cup of coffee, im not addicted too it :D

When I do get my coffee/tea in the morning. Well i know what I feel for my whole day. Its different it's like there's something wrong because I always do have my coffee with milk in the morning. I think I will have a bad day because of that and I think i'll still try to have my coffee even if its late in the morning.
