If you found a wallet with a lot of cash inside it on the street,
what would you do? Keep it? Or try to find the owner? (be honest, I know if you are lying!)

No, Honestly, I'm a sensitive person, I can be selfish, but not that selfish. And I don't need it badly, if I did, mu answer might be different.
But now my answer is, honestly, I'd try to get it returned to its rightful owner.

Oh, plus I wouldn't want to take it with the risk of getting caught, or spending it and later finding out it belong to someone who really, really needed it.

it will depend on the situation.if the wallet has some identification ID or something that indicates who is the owner, then I'll return it.if there isn't,I'll try to hang around the place for a while and observe if someone who looks worried and confused will go back to the place where I found it.if no one comes back,I'll consider that day my lucky day and keep the cash.

Hello,
I wouldn't give it any second thought and report to the concerned authority about it. And then I will feel good about it and get a peaceful goodnight sleep. Here I have a question, how do know whether you are able to find out whether a person is lying? Or, is it just a warning?
Thanks for starting such an interesting discussion
God bless you

Its easy to think that you can keep the money for your own good. But the truth is being greedy wont do any good. Honestly I needed money, who doesnt need money anyway? But I also know that if I lost my wallet I would be devastated. So being in the shoes of the owner, I would feel the same. I would try to find the owner if the wallet has identification cards. What if the wallet doesnt have ID? I would just keep it and wait for someone to claim it. In the event that no one claims it then I would keep the money for myself, its not my fault anyway.

I would return the wallet to the owner. Hopefully their drivers license would be in it so I would be able to find them easily. I wouldn't even accept money if they tried to give me some for returning it. It's just a good deed that every one should do without expecting anything in return.
If there was not a license in it I would bring it to a police station, I'm sure they'd know how to deal with it best.

I think it would depend on my mood. Most likely, I would keep it. Unless I watched the wallet fall from someone's purse or pocket, in that case I would pick it up and return it to them. If it were just laying there though I would take it, because if I didnt then someone else would.
