i wonder why some posts here have no responses, while others have lot... is it the subject? or maybe the title? should it be catchy? or a little bit of like guessing? i wonder what topic may interests more readers and respondents...

There's a simple explanation for that. Many people who seemingly get a lot of responses regardless of topic do so because they have been here awhile and built up a large friends list to go along with their posts. The more friends you have the more people are notified when you post a discussion, and the more people are likely to respond. It takes a little bit of time, and effort to post good discussion topics but anyone can get there over time.

The key is quality discussion topics and good responses to others discussion. If you can do that than I guarantee you will have no trouble building a strong friends list

It depends on what the discussion is about. Sometimes the title may catch someone's eye, but the content has you scratching your head. I've come across discussions written as questions in the subject, but the content leaves you with nothing to respond to. Those discussions often get ignored and barried. Best advice make the content something a person can respond to and you'll get a lot of replies.

Simple it only means that some posts aren't that interesting compare to others though there are posts wherein have no sense but funny and yet many responses and with that we should be aware that a question or a post need not be that relevant but it should be catchy and interesting.

I think more common questions will have more replies. That is the question can be answered by everyone, everyone has something to say about it hehe

#1 top of the list some of us get tired of those that spend hours posting tons of stupid questions. In fact I just saw one persons posts in here there is over 20 posts by the same member yet they only have done around 30 replies, this just tells me the person is doing spamming posts. Maybe there is no links, but to me 20 posts, one right after the other is spamming. I wont even think about replying to crap like that. Then you have those that post about what color are your eyes: Go ahead answer, that isn't even a real post. I wont go near that junk. You want to interest us? Then post about something real, don't post trash like most people do. In fact we would so much more enjoy reading about something that happened to you any day then most of the trash that is out there.

that totally depends on what the discussion is about. if topic interests people then they reply it. if it doesnt interest them, then they dont.
