How do u let a great friend that u love just walk away?

A very special friend of mine has decided to end our relationship, no goodbye no see ya nothing. This hurts, how
do u just except this and forget? I just don't see how friends can just go without even a simple goodbye, I'll always
care for my friend...always. @

It's not fair is it. Wish I had answer, but all I can say is you have to move on. When someone knocks you down, and kicks you in the face, it's ok to hurt. But you can't stay in the dirt forever. You have to get up, and stumble home, and nurse your wounds.
Have a day of mourning for your friend. Cry a bit. Let the pain out. Then pick yourself up and make some new friends.
