Hi, abhiabhiabhiabhi. I have an desktop and a laptop. My husband bought this laptop last year. I have had an desktop of my own since 2004. Right now, I usually will use the laptop. I don't have an modem for my desktop anymore. My husband told me that he was going to give me this laptop, because he needed him another one that has more space. So, very soon, this laptop that I am now on, will be all mines.

I have a laptop, two actually, but the keyboard on one of them is broken and with no warnity I let it expire and don't have the money to buy a new one. And with the cost to up it, I could buy a minny. I didn't have the money for that eaither, so I'm leasing to own my current laptop over 18 installments. (18 months) I've done about four so I've got a long way to go. No six.... but still.... the time will fly by. About this time come 2011 I should have it paid off.

I have both a laptop as well as a desktop.I use desktop the most as in desktop it is easy to play games and do multiple things easily but in laptop it is not possible and the screen in laptop is small as well so most of the time I am there in my desktop pc.when the light is not there or I have to do something while I go somewhere then I use my laptop.

I actually do have both, and right now I use the desktop all the time because my Laptop is not working at the moment, but if it was it would be a 80/20 split the other way with using my laptop most of the time. It is a newer computer with alot more speed and almost as much storage. It also features a newer built in modem and webcam so with it's easy maneuverability the laptop wins out. The problem I am finding with laptops in general is the hardware is inferior to desktops and they simply are not anywhere near and durable. Do you know that the average shelf life of a laptop regardless of brand these days is just 2-3 years. If you have your laptop for more than 2 years without a significant hardware failure of some kind, you can count yourself blessed.

I have a desktop and a laptop. I seldom use the desktop though, because most of the time, my kids will be hogging it to play their favorite online games. I use my laptop for my daily work. In fact, right now, I am working on this response using this laptop.
