I think Tony IS grown up. His personality in a good part is an act to coverup the way he actually feels. I have thought that the Tony and Ziva might get together because opposites often attract, at least on TV.

I really don't think so - that's one of the things I like about NCIS, you don't see too much unrealistic pairings. McGee and Abby were strange, but they didn't last, but are still friends - they respect each other. Ziva doesn't respect Tony enough. I think she's getting bits of respect for him, but on the whole her opinion is pretty poor - honestly, while I recognize Tony does a good job MOST of the time, there are times I'm in there with Gibbs giving him mental head slaps!
Finally, why it won't work - they have carefully kept all the leads on that show single - so they can have romantic pairings with guest stars.
I wish the army lady was still around for Gibbs... liked her. I really liked the whole romantic stuff with Tony, I hope the gal doesn't come back later as a vengeful villain! I really liked her.

The are they, aren't they, is a lure for people to watch, like other shows where they have a couple which seems destined together. The problem is if they get it right and get a couple together, the shows suffer sometimes, this is a bad example but it is the only one I can think of right now : Mulder and Scully(X-Files) among others only got together near the end and then it lost some of that magic/spark. We will see what the writers come up with, it is fiction so anything is possible.

I hope so - I think they would make a great pair and still have their disagreements.

I hope they won't get together. it would change the whole dynamics of their relationship as colleagues. Snyway I don't think Gibbs would be too impressed by it do you? Tony and Ziba are great just the way they are, getting them involved with each other will only lead to complications, and I like how we don't see too much of the agents private lives.
