Gastric Bypass Surgery

Have you had gastric bypass surgery? Thinking about having it and though i have researched it, talked to doctors, I haven't really had an opportunity to get feedback from someone who actually had it.. I went to a support group but the only people who were there were people like me who were thinking of getting it so it wasn't any help at all....Just want to know how you felt when you woke up from surgery, steps, things to watch for, or any useful information that you want to share... positive and negative

I met someone who had that she was very healthy. I didn't even know that she had that sort of operation but she told me about it and it was unbelievable. It's like she never went to a hospital. It is important that you get a good doctor though just to make sure. I think this procedure has been done so many times that it is now considered minor surgery. Just relax and have faith in God and your doctor.
