Where are all the kites???

The strange thing about this years kites festival (sankrakti) is that there are barely any kites visible on the skyline. Here in Hyderabad, where kites used to be a craze among everyone big or small. but the there are other incidents that are eating away hyderabadies time like work and issues that can keep you from doing anything at all, the recent Telengana bandhs (the day the city is closed) that caused a major pull back at offices and schools kept everyone from moving around. people out there must be knowing a how annoying it is to wake up get ready and leave for office or school to realise that it is actually bandh. Many vendors around the city are at losses due to this issue. the exams are postponed due to which kids have to sit and study instead of enjoying their holidays and the kite season. The issues never seem to get resolved, the seasons and festivals are just going by.
