Yesterday while I was watching the national news I suddenly saw my mother on the television. The report was about my former work, a cigarette shop, which was raided a few days ago. They were talking about the increase in raids against money transports. My mother happened to just exit the shop when a reporter was interviewing a police officer.
Have you ever been on the television yourself? Or maybe in the newspaper?

For a while, when I was in high school I used to be the person giving the comunity social news in a local channel. And a few years ago I was interviewed by a reporter about a shooting that took place on the street where I had my office, and that evening we saw me in the news about how all the business owners felt about criminality. And of course my daughters recorded the segment... to keep it for posterity.

Actually, I was all over the news back in early 1990, CNN, Fox, and local programs...lol. I had been working for a homeless shelter that closed down, and we set up a tent city in protest. We stayed in the park for 11 days, despite warnings from the mayor to vacate, until they finally brought a fleet of city buses to arrest us all. I volunteered to be the first one arrested, which meant it was filmed extensively. I now know that I look terrible in orange jumpsuits!

I've done the beg-a-thons on PBS, there was a kids show when I was a kid that I was on - they did it for kids birthdays... I was ducking once when the news came to our church and also at a science fiction convention. I saw my car on the news after I wrecked it, but they missed me!

A news crew once came to a summer camp I went to, and I was in one of the shots they took of the kids. I was told by a friend of the family that I appeared on television during a story about a concert that I was at. I didn't see myself though, so I had to take their word for it. Other than that, nothing I know of.
