My PC is not booting up, i dont know what the problem is. When i switch on it Fans of processor, graphics card and case are spinning but PC refuse to boot, not even post screen appears. There is no beeping sound coming from PC. I encountered this problem few months back and the service guy said that my Mobo is malfunctioning. I sent it to RMA and received it some weeks back. Can the Mobo is again malfunctioning or is this any other problem? My System spec is this: Intel c2d e7300 MSI p45 Neo Mobo 2 x 2GB corsair xms2 800mhz rams Palit radeon HD4850 graphics card Cooler Master extreme power 600W PSU WD greenpower 500GB HDD Os is Windows 7 ultimate Please help me..

It is very possible that power isn't getting to the mother board in order to boot your system correctly. Even though you take it to a "repar" shop there is no set garentee that the tech that worked on yoursystem knew what they were doing. Quite often if I have a tech over I often to do one of two things, go behind them and complete the repairs m myself, or ask them spsific questions that makes them say one of two things a: I don't know, or B: oh I didn't think about that. Because I'm blind, there certain things I won't do by myself and have someone else do for me for my saftey. For example all the plates on the bottom of my laptop were oose. I took my laptop over to George and showed him the screws. Seeing as they were too small for me to properally feel if the screwdriver was in or not, I told him what I wanted him to do, and he did it for me. Now my laptop's working better then ever and there are no screws fallen out or lost to get swowled by the cats which would've been easy considering how small they are.

yes i would think it'll be the mobo. Especially since you already have repaired that one awhile back. you may want to check it out with an IT or tech guy just to make sure. How long have you been using your mobo? You may also check if it's the hdd. Try replacing it with other hdd if you have some spare.

Well my friend I think there is some problem with your mother board. But still I would suggest you take out the graphic card and the ram and clean them a bit. If you have a vacuum cleaner then use it to blow of the dust and then try. It may help but then too the chances are very less.

I already did the cleaning, but to no avail. I even tried the RAM stick of a friend.

If there's no display then the problem could be the video or graphic card. Try to borrow a graphic card from a friend and see if there would be a display this time. If not, it could be the hard disk. The worst is the mainboard. I hope not.

Yes, let me conclude: There is no beep. If there was a problem with the RAM, CPU, or VGA there should be a beep sound heard. On the other hand, you can't see anything from the beginning. But you are sure that there is no problem in the monitor (you can see a slight increase in monitor light when switching your PC on). Till now it should be your Mobo not VGA. Since you just repaired the Mobo its more likely to be the guilty. Nevertheless, Amitavroy is right about the dust cleaning.
