Before I can't sleep when the light is turned off. It's just like too uncomfortable and maybe I'm scared. My parents will be the one who will turned the light off when they know that I'm already asleep. But now, I can sleep without light and I'm glad that I can do it. LOL.

I used to sleep with the lights on but my husband can't sleep with the lights on, so, when I married it became lights off It does not bother me at all as long as there is a little light left - a lamp post at the window works fine with me.

I can't sleep with the lights on. But, I can sleep with the TV on. Usually, I just put in sleep mode, and I'm always off to lala land even before the TV goes out. If the lights were on, I would put something to cover my eyes. I remember doing this in university when I had a room mate. When I was sleepy, and he's still studying or something.

The lights have to be off no doubt. Most mornings I wake up just because it it to light out not because I am done sleeping. I have to make sure that everything that gives off light is off or covered before I can go to sleep.

Generally, I sleep with the lights off. The only time that I will leave a light on is if I'm in an unfamiliar place where I do not really know the room layout (i.e. if I'm traveling or just moved to a new apartment). Then again, my cat (Tigger has insisted in making peep holes in the blinds in every room so some light does shine in from the exterior aprtment complex lighting. Would that be considered on or off? Hard to say I guess it is like the half empty or half fulf philosophical debate.

i usually sleep with light off. sometime with light on when i sleep alone. scientific research show that better switch light off. when light is unavailable, our brain will release a hormone that reduce our brain activity and let us to sleep. so you may find harder to sleep with your light on.

A couple of hours before I am going to bed I light a tea candle under an oil burner with nice scented oil with a four hour candle then I go to bed with this in my room, I think it relaxes me with the gentle aroma and just a little light then I am always asleep when the candle burns out....

i cant sleep with the lights turned off too, i feel crepy and spooky har har har. but when we started living together, my wife can not sleep with the lights turned on. at first she tried to sleep with the lights on and at most time she covers her eyes. she can not take it anymore so she bought a lamp shade that can give light mostly at my side of the bed. it worked. so the lights are on but a small light only that will make me feel good when i sleep and her side will be dark that would make her feel good when she sleeps.

I prefer to sleep with the lights and TV off, but my pet cat sleeps in my bedroom with me at night so I cant aways sleep with the lights off because my cat can be very destructive and hyper, so I have to sleep with a night light sometimes so I can see what he's up to because he likes to knock things down and make lots of noise, so for that reason only I must sleep with at least partial light, but I like sleeping in the dark.

I sleep with the lights off. If it's a really dim night light it's great because sometimes I don't like the dark. But I don't like having the light in my ryrs, so usually, it's off.
