Is there an item that you really would like to buy or get this year?

Well, actually it isn't a something I'm saving for, but an experience. I'll be 29 on March 1st of this year. And the next year I'll be thirty. So, in preparation for that, I'm saving money this year so on my 30th birthday I can go skydiving. I'm not completely crazy - I plan to do the tandem skydiving. You know, when you're attached to a pro skydiver? And they pull the chute...I wanted to do something big for my 30th birthday. Life's tough for everyone. So I'm going to have some fun when I can. And I'm looking forward to it.

well, i have a lot to buy this year. a printer, a camera , new cloth and have a celebration with the one i love. so i need to earn hard from here.

I would like to get the Wii but I don't have much extra money this year. I would like the Wii because it has many neat games I know my boyfriend enjoys and I think it would motivate me to push myself to exercise a bit more than I currently do. Good luck getting your laptop, I wish you the best!

I'm saving for my mother's 50th birthday. We are planning to set it up in her hometown with her brothers and sisters. It it will be a surprise party so we are all very excited about it. I hope I can save enough to buy her something that until now I still can't figure out what.LOL

This year, i would love to get one of the new ipod's. It seems ipod keeps coming up with new things every year. Which the same people buy over again. well i think im going to buy an ipod. Ipods seem to be the new style :D.

Since last year I hv been trying to save money to buy one digital camera and LCD t.v. but whenever i think, I hv saved enough to buy at least one of these items, something or the other crops up and all my saving is gone. I do not when I will be able to buy these items.,

I have been wanting a motorcycle since then, someone taught me, and when I learned to drive motorcycle I asked my father if he can buy it for me, but then he said NO. So I told to my self that I really need to save, to get what i want. and now, I have the money, but still thinking about it.. Hopefully I can get it this year.

Hello apples99, Since December last month I set my eyes on a Canon DSLR 1000D. I asked my boyfriend for money but because he already gave me his Canon digital camera, he won't allow me to buy it. Now that I know it is out of the question asking from him, it's one of my resolution this year to get it with my own money. I am not working, but I do have some side income, eventhough it is not much I hope I can save up. Few days ago I saw in my friend's facebook, she's smiling and holding one camera, the exact model that I wanted . I felt very disappointed and a bit jealous I admit. Well, she's rich and sure she can afford it. Ohhh... I cross my finger...

I too also want a new laptop this year, apples99. I've had this one for just over 3 years now, and although it still does its job, it is starting to show its age through its processing speed and such. I could also do with an external hard drive. I have so many work stuff and files that I need to find room for urgently.

I am more concerned about saving whatever is made of wood in the house. A wood worm has visited our house and gnawing at everything that is made of wood. I am worried and am hell bent on getting rid of it. Have contacted the pest control people and they have promised help. Every day I see fine powder lying on the floor everywhere!

what i want is a state of the art single lens reflex camera. i would like to be able to capture moments with all the flexibility that a point and shoot camera cannot do. of course a laptop would be great to download all the photos taken to free the much needed memory from the camera.
