What do you prefer to wear? A high heel shoes/sandals or flat? I actually want to wear high heels but its uncomfortable when I wear it too long, it's pretty and beautiful when you look at it but it is uncomfortable so between the two I would choose flat. Maybe it depends... LOL:)

I would love to be the kind of girl that wears heels all the time, but my boyfriend isn't much taller than me and I don't want to make him feel short, so I refrain from wearing them. I usually go with cute flats that match my outfit, or if it's a laid back day, I wear tennis shoes.

That depends on what it is that you are going to be doing. If you are going to be doing a lot of walking or standing you may want a pair of flats however if you sit most of the day don't walk much then pretty heels is the better choice in terms of looks.

I would always go for flats. I never wear heels unless it's a special occasion or it's required. I love to wear flats, flip flops, sneakers... Also, I get tired pretty fast when I'm in heels, especially since I don't get much practice wearing them.

Hi vycess. I'm sorry that women have to fall victims to what men consider as the preferred look for women. Usually these are high heels.
Even for myself, I would see a woman differently if she were wearing heels. As compared to wearing flats. A woman in heels looks powerful and sexy. And it shows that she knows how to handle and carry herself. Even if it means wearing uncomfortable shoes.

I mostly wear flats (usually ballet flats, which I think are really elegant) during the day, because I walk a lot, and I work for 9 hours straight, and I cannot walk comfortably in heels for such a long time.
But at night, for parties, restaurants, and such things, I prefer heels, since they are more elegant, yet harder to walk in for a long time. But usually I do not stay too long at parties or restaurants anyway, so it is okay!

Hi friend,
Like you I love the look of heels, but usually my feet protest. I did find a new brand of heel Comfortology that are pretty comfortable. These are the only heels that I've found that my toes don't scream take off those heels after 5 minutes of standing - LOL! I tried wearing heels for work, but realized dealing with students with severe behaviors in heels is not the easiest. Plus I really didn't want my really nice heels getting scuffed up by students. I did invest in dressy flats for work so much easier when you have to chase after a kindergartner. I'm getting ready to student teach 7th & 8th graders and plan on wearing heels because they are much more professional looking and I really want to impress the people I am working with at the school because I'd love to get hired to work in that district. After all you know it is all about image sometimes it drives me crazy!
On the weekends when I'm running errands I go for complete comfort flip flops. No I'm not crazy it is just Arizona is the one climate where you can wear flip flops in the middle of winter. I love letting my feet relax and breath after wearing closed toe shoes all week at work.
