I am a Malayali from Thrissur,Kerala.
Like all malayalis I really love Malayalam movies.
Malayalam film industry is the fourth largest film industry in India after Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu, and Kerala is a small state.
My favorite actor is Mohanlal but i do go and see almost all malayalm films.
The latest malayalam movies i watched are 'Chattambinaadu' starring Mammootty and 'Ividam Swargamanu' starring Mohanlal.
How many of you like to see Malayalam films? Which one is the latest one you saw?

Hi hirumon,
The drawback of malayalam movies is, which can enjoy the people from Kerala only. The reason is people from other states don't know the language. (I agree some people from other states can understand malayalam too). In fact malayalam movies are always great and there is much talented people working in the industry. Rasool Pookutty got the Oscar recently, is the best example of their talent. Presently I am not living the state though I am from Kerala and I am not getting chances to watch the new movies. I watched ‘Pazhassi Raja’ in November. (Hit movies are playing here in cinema halls for a short duration). There are great movies in our malayalam and talented and blessed actors and actress also there.
Thanks for this discussion but I have one personal opinion. This is an international forum and the topics which covering within our state won’t be get success in mylot. I know there are lots of malayalaees here but I think nobody noticed your topic.
