Joomla website need to be offline or online

you should have a "domain name and web hosting both paid or free" to post your site online so that it can be seen public online.

I suggest to stay online while updating content, to maintain customer satisfaction. just imagine when we went to a website which is always offline while updating the content, maybe visitors will think that the sites they visit are always broken or always down. so my advice if you are not doing a maintenance-related systems, such as repair of the database or backup database, then the site should remain online. I think Joomla! is a very good CMS to create a website, because when we use Joomla!, we are not crazy by the system. we just live to make menus, articles, gallery, news and modules - another module instantly, for e commerce, we can use components that have been provided with easy joomla like VirtueMart.

Whenever you publish something online you don't have to keep you system up, unless your system is the server. If you are doing it on a hosting then you must know that its when you publish it there, online then you can be offline without affecting anything. Whenever you want to go back, simple login as administrator and access your page. Your page would be accessible to the viewers, even if you are offline and you don' need to keep your system on for that! :)
