how old were when you started to drink alcohol

It is a fact that nowadays children start drinking very young. Quite often children at the age of 12 already drink beer sometimes even harder alcohol.
It would be interesting to study this tendency by shearing our expirience. For examle I drank my first beer at the age of 14. What about you? And how often and what kind of alcohol do you drink? And also is there someone of you who drinks alcohol not because he likes it but because his friends drink?

The first time I had a drink was probably when I was about 13/14 but I didn't really start drinking as such until I was about 17. I did have abit of a mad period where I used to go out drinking far too much, but these days I tend not to get drunk too often and only drink rarely when in the mood for a relaxed drink.

I started at the age of 22 in collage. Its not because my friends were used to it but I thought of testing and feel - Is it really some colorful cover on your eyes. The result were true - Its just state of mind with some strong feelings.
