i find some people really ridiculous! well don't get me wrong, these people that i find ridiculous are those people who keeps on telling to others or keeps on telling that they don't like this or that...they say that oh i hate people who are doing this or that...yeah things like that...but when you take a closer look at it, its them who are actually doing those things that they said that they don't like!
like for example...some may say that they hate gossipers...but in fact they are the number 1 gossiper! haha
haha aren't they ridiculous & kinda irritating sometimes? or you think they are not aware of what they are saying & what they are actually doing conflicts with each other? or its like they are slapping their own face?
so have you met people like these? and how do you find them/what do you think of them? and what else do you find ridiculous to some people?thanks and happy posting!

Yeah. Did you notice that at times we misunderstand a person, and then later, change our minds about the person because of some other thing that we come to know later. In the first instance, we may react in one way, and even resort to talking something against the person, only to retrace our steps later. It means, we cannot be constant about our opinions as we do not have all facts at all times. Learnt it by experience that we need to take time judging people based on all facts, rather than taking what others state for granted.

hello vandana...
well, first impression don't always last... and yes sometimes we tend to misjudged some people just based on what we saw on them but when we finally get to know them better that's the time that we will realize that he misjudged them...
but anyway, i guess its human nature? but as much as possible let us try not to commit such mistake, but i must admit that in my life i do feel guilty about it...sometimes.
but when we already know a person, then they are keep on doing/saying things that we know they are not or they are the offenders themselves, sometimes they are irritating...

Hi ckyera, there are any number of such double faced people and it is best to keep them at a distance and have very little to do with them. I have some close relatives who are classic examples of such types and I am always wary of them. I try not to have many dealings with them - all the best and have a nice evening

Hey my friend! There a number of these kind of people in our society. These people are really opportunists. Their real intention is to utilize the fullest opportunity from you. Whenever they've targeted you he/she tries to understand your temperament (i.e. what type of person you are) and then tries to impress you with his/her flattering remarks that matches your personality. When you're convinced that you've been impressed with his/her flattering, he then proceeds to make the effort to get the fullest favour from you. So, the whole thing is an act, fake.

Hey friend, I think I couldn't make it clear to you. I made this response in the light of my area. There are people who flatter me with hope of getting help and support from me when they are in danger. They always want to remain good in my view as they know that I am helpful enough and active. I avoid the people I've already known thoroughly, but the ones whom I haven't able to known 'cause they're deep water fish. In this concern, I can mention a person named 'Manik' of my locality. As a matter of fact, I don't like taking any kind of narcotics. I've known Manik for four years. By this time he never let me know that he is an addict to narcotics. He always used to say that he dislikes them just to gain favour from me and remain good to me. But on one festive occasion, to my utter surprise, I discovered him taking ganja (Indian hemp used as narcotic). When I asked him, "You said that you disliked them." He replied, "I seldom take them, not as an addict." There are some people who flatter me so that I would treat them with a cup of tea at a local tea-stall. Aren't they ridiculous?

Hi, ckyera. Yes, they are! I agree with you! I know many people that are like this! And I don't like it when a person says that they are not jealous of others when in fact that they really are. When people say things that is not true about them, that I find to be very true. I see them as being mortal hypocrites.

hi cream!
yeah its annoying to hear people saying this or that or complaining about this and that when in fact they are the number one offender of what they are saying.
and what's more funny is when they are trying to build another personality very much different from what they show. huh!

I find myself deleting stupidness. I'm on a roll tonight and not very sympathetic with the vast majority of mylotters discussion subjects.
irritating and stupid, ignorant and chidlish.
I just delete the ones i dont want to talk about or even think about and discuss the ones I find interesting enough to spend my time on.
like it or lump it, mylot is full of all kinds and really isn't that what mylot is all about/??

i understand you...and i think i also feel that way at one time or another...
mylot is a community with lots of different people, just like our community offline with lots of different people as well , and different personalities...
and so, just leave the way we live offline? stay away from those that irritates us? hehe something like that? ignore them and just go with those that interest & makes us happy...so that the fun will not be spoiled...
thanks!

I learned the hard way by trying to help one lady on mylot who was apparently bipolar !
I told her to get help and even sent her some info on her problem and two other mylotters jumped me out and I got on the hot side and told them both to bug off that I was not trying to hurt her but apparently they were enabling her-------
But, they haven't bothered me since I told them I'd report them to mylot admin.
You/we learn who are the good, the bad and the ugly !!
I just stay away from the bad and the ugly :) there are just too many good members here and it's nice to be able to share.

I have some like that in my everyday life not so much mylotters though.... I have found that most of the mylotters are pretty knowledgeable people or atleast most of the ones I have come in contact with..... After one contact you really know which ones you can talk to and give you a honest opinion and which ones really don't give a care.... Look we are all on here to make a little money but let's make it fun and a learning experience in the process....

Hiya ckyera,
I used to live by a woman who lived downstairs and quite honestly if she had lived miles away you could still have heard her. I was the cornerstone of her gossip day as my Sisterinlaw and her were great friend still are so any tidbits about me go straight back to her it´s really nice in a way that I am so famous round here but for all the wrong reasons (grin).
Well about this neighbour I would like to state that I never considered her to be my neighbour at all I would rather have lived next to my worst enemy. She shrieked everything to her kids worse than a Parrot or a Chimpanzee I am not kidding she has a voice when she shrieks everything out that makes you cringe and all of your nerves to go with it. Of course before she had another friend who lived in front of me who also gossiped about me too so with all those gossipers out there I really don´t pay much attention anymore unless they talk about my Mother and then they can look out watch out guys here I come. But as for them talking about me all the time I wish I could make cash out of all that just think all that wasted fame and being in the Headlines of where you live and all because you mind your own business.
I wish none of this was true but it is but just the same I don´t wish them any ill I just wish that for once they would mind their own business instead of mine maybe I should charge them for copyright?

lol...are you a celebrity? hehe just kidding! well, there are really people like that everywhere! even in the place where i grow up...we also have neighbors like that, and the subject of their gossips most of the time was my mom & our family, they always make intrigues about us which we don't really understand why...some says maybe its envy, but we can't think of anything that they should envy about us...
but anyway on your part maybe that's also the reason why...maybe they are envy or jealous of you? or they just have nothing to do in their life...hehe
yeah, that's a good idea, to charge them for copyright! haha that way you can earn more...haha just like those famous celebrities!
but anyway, just let them talk and talk until they get tired...and you, just live your life the way it is and let them die of enviousness... hehe just kidding!

yeah, you should be! haha with all those talks about you...beware, sooner or later they might hire a paparazzi to spy on you! just kidding!
but have you tried confronting them even once?
well with my family, i guess those people around, as everybody gets older, they also get tired of gossiping and its a good thing that we are not living there anymore, and when we visit the place, it seems that we are long lost friends...haha as if nothing happens in the past...

Hiya ckyera,
I´m not a celebrity but I should be should´nt I? Maybe they are envious I don´t really care anymore but sometimes every so often I wonder what makes them like that.
Still I don´t think they will give up that easily as word has got back to me that they are still going on about me from both ends in England and here in Spain.
Oh woe is me if I could only charge them for all that copyright and everything I would be rich too but I´m not and they can talk about me till they go over to the other side they probably won´t stop then either. Like I said it´s nice to be famous.
Sorry to hear that your Family was being gossiped about they really have no right to do that.

hello msfrancisco!
yup! very true! a thief hates a thief! sometimes i feel like some are just using it to cover up for their own mistakes...or like what you have said, some just want some recognition by letting others down which most of the time just hit them back? oh oh...
anyway, actually i am not stressed with it, i am just wondering why...hehe and atleast somehow, they were able to make me smile while raising my eyebrows...hehe just kidding!

Hey ckyera! I think that is just part of the nature in all
of us! We do things that some think are ridiculous to others,
but we don't always realize that it is ridiculous to ourselves!
Maybe you are doing something that others are thinking is
ridiculous! And as for gossiping, isn't that what you are doing
right now in this discussion? You are talking about your so
called friend! It's ok! We all do it whether we mean to or not!
It's sometimes unfortunate, but it is just part of being human!

you're right but many are poker face so eventually some are very good in deceiving and sometimes most of the time the one who feel irritate most of the times are the one who also have the same characteristic, So their are cases of domino effect where the person who do most of the complain are the one who have defect as she/he despise other but she/he does not notice herself/his self are the most imperfect one. So it is better not to judge in order not to be judged.

yes its true, but the fish is usually caught in its mouth...hehe
true, don't judge if you don't want to be judged and don't complain if you know that you are also guilty of such things...huh! but sometimes the problem is that the offender didn't actually know or they are in denial that they are also guilty of such 'crimes'
now i am thinking...hmmm i am also guilty? maybe.

The one that I encounter the most often in my life is the people that say they don't like drama when they are in fact the ones that are always starting all of the drama. My sister-in-law is the best example of this. Every single day she has got some different dramatic story that she's got to share. The funniest thing is that I don't think the majority of the stories that she shares have any truth to them at all.
@ckyera (17331)

haha...sometimes its also fun listening to them...but most of the time, its kinda annoying...it reminds me of someone that i know, really almost the same as what you are talking about...and what's funny is that, when you hear her talking...as if she's really talking the truth! huh! and if you don't know her, you will definitely believe on her and fall on her stories...but too bad, most of the time, it also brings her to troubles and now even her husband don't trust her that much...
