My favorite is the red.
The green bell pepper is one that isn't ripe. While attached to the plant will turn yellow or orange, and then red. Some turn purple, which is the most bitter.

The bell pepper will have more antioxidants after they ripen, and the red pepper has more lycopene which is said to help prevent some cancers. The red pepper also has the most amount of vitamin A. All varieties have more vitamin C than any citrus fruit (though I would rather eat a whole orange than a whole bell pepper!)

Hi there Qaeyious.
That post of yours is really nice. I'm not a fan of bell peppers but when you said that it can prevent cancer, I think I got interested with it. xD
I do also agree on that line of yours about a whole orange thingy... xD
Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

Hi there Hazelrose.
I haven't tasted the yellow one but I think they all differ in taste. Red ones are somehow spicy and somehow bitter (for me...) while the Green ones somehow taste sweet (for me again...) xD
Have you already tasted the three colors?
Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

Hi, skbrence. I like eating all of these. I think that the yellow and green peppers are the most nutritious because they are darker and richer in color. I am glad that this vegetable is good for us to eat, because I really enjoy eating it, especially onto my cold salads and cooked meat.
