I could not open any site on Internet Explorer?

hi mylot friends,yesterday my system was get ready for work,i have do some works and mylot in Mozilla fire fox,mostly i do all my work in Mozilla only,when i have tried to open a site on Internet Explorer it was not opening no one site was opened in my Internet Explorer,what is the reason,there is icon in my desktop,the internet Explorer is opening but the site were not opening,have you faced this type of situation any time with the Internet Explorer?

It happens sometimes for me. The internet explorer says server not found. I try for sometime, then leave it. Again when I try, it will open. Why I do not know.

IE completely sucks it creats problems all the time i usually dont use IE but sometimes i have to and if you are having a browser whihc is not working its waste of space try this micrsoft link

thanks for the response/comment,you are always great,my system is running very very late,my internet speed also 238 kpbs speed,how to make running my system with at most speed,now i am using opera instead of IE,tell me difference in between Ghost software and anti virus software please,have a nice day

I usually works in Mozilla. Very good search engine. But Internet Explorer has some problems.

thanks for the response,i am also using Mozilla and i like Mozilla than the internet explorer,now i am using opera also side by side only to some extent,only few sites in opera and for regular sites i use Mozilla regularly,i do not know why the IE is not opening,have a nice day

I have only used Intenet Explorer a few times, as I have installed Firefox on my laptop, and I prefer to use that, as it loads faster, and I like it better. It seems that Internet Explorer has problems no matter what operating system is on the computer. This laptop is new so it has Windows 7 on it, and it does run much faster that Vista did, that is for sure. As far as Internet Explorer is concerned, I really don't like it all that well, and that is why I really don't use it. It is there when Firefox has trouble opening up pages, and it does that a few times. I will probably use it again in time, but for now, I am sticking with Firefox. Take care, and ahppy mylotting.

hi ann,
thanks for the comment/response,my system was not worked for me from 31st December onwards,but i have do some thing from 5th onwards to 10th of January,from then in my place it was not worked due to that i could not attend much to mylot and other works,have a nice day

Firstly, I should say you'll never need it. Better not to have IE!
Secondly, I think the only reason could be a proxy setting. Did you use a proxy (IP:port) on your IE? (I think no, but) There are also many antifiltering softwares which automatically change your proxy settings. It is worth to check it in your Tools menu Internet options. It should be in connections(Lan) settings. See if proxy is checked and remove it.
