Are you ADDING friends because you know them and you were really friends OR, you are JUST adding friends for the sake of having lots of NEIGHBORS and definitely to make your FRIEND COUNT go huge? What is your manner of adding and accepting friend requests?

I've only added a few friends, most of my friends have added me *he he* But I only accept request from people I'm interested in keeping in touch with, or at least interested to know how they're doing. I have very few friends that are there just because they we have met once or twice and they feel like they know me.

Usually not, so I wonder if I should have a spring-cleaning in my friends list :-) As it's a social network I don't know how much point there is with facebook friends that can't even be called casual aquintances in real life.

If you were somehow force to delete those extra friends you have, will you somehow inform them or tell them that you would do such thing?

Hi there Torunn. Well, we are somehow the same. I don't add to much, they are the one who adds me. xD With those friends that you have met once or twice, do you still find time communicating or knowing them much more? By the way, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

I play 2 games, so I need a huge number of friends. I have over 3,000. Most of them are only my friend for the games.

I communicate with a few dozen. Half are people I know, and half are internet friends.

Hi there TheCatLady. Woah! 3000 friends just because of the games? That's nice. I myself do and have hard time searching for that number of friends so that the games I play would get bigger. xD Anyways, having those 3000 friends, do you somehow communicate with them? By the way, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

I have real friends. Friends that I have made online through common interests, Mafia Wars friends and COLLIE friends (which kind of falls under the common interest heading) the collie friends I have made here on facebook. The other common interest friends I have met at other sites, Like Yuwie and the Moonlight and Alex Oloughlin fan sites. I think the majority are Mafia war add-ons though, as I have over 800 Mafia crew. I currently have over 1500 friends but I have them there for another reason - i use My Facebook page for marketing. I can showcase my Zazzle items when I make them by posting them on my FB page and hopefully increasing my sales!

Zazzle is a site where you create things and then post them for sale.. Check out my profile page.. I have a widget that shows a few things and the shirt and stuff below it are all from zazzle.

Hello skbrence, good day to you. Well, regarding facebook? I only just add friends that I know and I assure that they also know me, so in case there would be a zero chance for my request to be regret. That's the reason why I only have seventy friends in my account. But to be honest? I know if I will add other people the gate will be open for us to be a friend. In this case I will able to have a great number of friends in my account.

Hi there online_jon. Seventy friends? That's quite few. xD Well, anyways I agree with you on that part where you have said that gate thingy. If you and that person is interested to each other, well luckily, there would be new opportunity for friendship that would come to you. By the way, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

Here at myLot I add most or all friend requests, but when it comes to other social networking sites like Facebook and Friendster, I don't do the same.

Hi there Hazelrose. I do either that kind of accepting friend requests here in myLot. But how about on Facebook? Do you accept friend requests for the sake of having game NEIGHBORS and for the sake of having a great number of friends or you do either ways here in myLot and Facebook? Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

Same with Zearah. I don't really add friends except when I know them or when he/she has the same interests as mine. I added some friends on Facebook because we look up to the same celebrity. I don't add people when I don't know them because it's a waste of time and I don't want posts on my wall that I have nothing to do with at all, especially on FB. Friend padding isn't cool for me.

You can always remove your connection with those people. That's what I do. There was this creepy stranger whom I added before. Without me knowing it, he claimed to have a mutual relationship with me. It freaked me out so I simply deleted him.

Oh, that experience of yours seems so ridiculous. I don't want to have such experience. That would totally freak me out. xD He/She would add you then post or comment to you that you have something mutual?, Ghee! I hate that. xD Well, in the case of those extra "i-don't-know-who-they-are" friends of mine, I have deleted some of them and seemed like my Facebook Home is somehow cleared from not interesting posts. xD Anyways, thanks again for your response.

Hi there mjcookie. I think we are somehow the same. xD Before in Facebook, I use to accept and do friend requests just for the sake of having neighbors in Facebook games like FarmVille and Pet Society. But now that I got bored with those games, my Facebook profile now suffers with those senseless posts that the "I-dont-know-who-they-are" friends of mine make everyday. My Facebook home is somehow crowded with them. And I do regret it. Now I have started a new one and I do only accept those whom I know. xD Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

Hi there zearah. So you are more on real-life friends and people in common interest. By the way, if a person in your common interest adds you, do you still bother knowing that person? Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

At the start, what i had there are my relatives and close friends. Then their friends will send invites and so on and so forth. I dont accept everybody.I see to it first that they are not scammers. I try not to keep numbers in my friends list, ever ever since. And sometimes i clean my list by deleting people who are doing nothing in my page.

Hi there lipstick2009. My relative and close friends' friends do also do that to me. And I do the same method that you are using to keep my friend list stable and clean. I do also delete them even without their permission. xD By the way, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

I'm only one facebook to play games for the most part so I usually just add friends to do better in a game. Example bigger mafia or more neighbors in farm ville or bigger army in castle wars. I do have some real friends on. I categorize everyone into groups of the game they where added for and real friends. Only my real friends can see my info like email and phone number (personal info).

Hi there blocker. So you're somehow have the "i-accept-friends-to-make-the-game-worth-playing" mindset, huh? Well, before I did that also. I also did what you have did, the categorize thingy. xD By the way, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

Hi there sanjeevsingh. So you just add or accept friend requests? If you do so, do you still mind knowing that person who have added you even though you don't really know each other? By the way, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

Hi mharje. That's nice. Even though you add and accept people whom you do not know, you still find time to know each other. That's what Socializing is all about. xD Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

I only ever add people I have had an actual conversation with. Sometimes people add me who I have seen before at a gathering etc but have not even spoken to. I'd rather my live feed wasn't filled with info from people I don't know!

Hi there jpbromley. So you're somehow after adding friends because you know them right? That's so good. It would be a good way keeping up your profile and your wall clean. Keep it up. xD Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.
