Which is best a laptop or desktop?

If you want something portable or convenient for trips then latops are best. But if you want something for games and something for a office then despots are best.

Desktops are most suitable when you're a gamer. Laptops tend to overheat quite quickly and despite of it's name containing 'lap' putting it on your lap is not the smartest thing to do. It accelerates the overheating process and when you're a man it's said to decrease your quality of your manly cells - Just trying not to hit the adult filter ;P-.

A laptop is thin and light. It can be carried around the house and used in any room. I like to sit in my armchair using my laptop. It is more comfortable than it was when I sat at my desk using my computer that I used to have. A laptop is great for the Internet and wireless connection is possible. It is good for emailing too. A top quality laptop will be necessary for gaming. A desk top computer is heavy and takes up much room. It is challenging to move. It is better for gaming. A 15 inch screen is fine I think. A 17 inch screen isn't all that much better. I got rid of my computer and got a laptop which I adore. I also have a net book which offers Internet outside my home.

Hi, If you travel more then laptop is best one for you otherwise desktop is best. Desktop is best for typing documents and playing games compared with laptop. You have to use laptop softly, so it will be difficult for playing games. I recommend desktop rather than laptop.

HI there! I think a desktop is better than laptop! It is very hard to find a seller who is ready to build you a laptop, on the parameters you want, and it is also a little bit expensive! Desktop needs a little bit more space and it is not mobile, but for me it is the better variant! You can buy it cheaper and faster than the laptop For example a laptop with CPU Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz and 4 GB RAM, HDD 320 GB and 1 GB video card can cost about 1200-1400$ and that is in the better variant. And for those money you can buy a desktop twice faster and functional then the laptop with a big screen!

I also think that desktop is better than the laptop as I like to play games so it is best achieved when it is played in desktop.There are advantages in laptop that you can travel with it but as I am a student now so the need have not came.So in my point of view desktop is the best.

well it depends from person to person. These days laptops are being purchased more. So laptops can be considered superior.
