hello there guys. im just wondering how can i have star beside my name like some of the member here in mylot? :)) and i observe the star has number on it. what does it mean? i know start means a lot hehehe and i want to have start too..:)) thnx for your time :))

hi! once you have reached 100 posts, you will have a star. right now you have 68 posts. participate some more to reach 100 and you'll know how other mylotters rate your post... because the number beside the star is you star rating or mylot reputation. the highest possible is a 10 or blue star. the red is 9, yellow for 8 and so on and so forth.

your first star can be anything from 1 to 10. it highly depends on how positively mylotters rated your discussions, responses and comments. it can go up or down too.
i've been here for 3 years now. on and off. i haven't been so active for so long due to work, business and traveling.
your first star can be achieved depending on the rate of your participation in mylot. if you post a lot in one day, you can achieve 100 posts in less than a week. if you do very little posts in a day, it will take you much longer.

sounds very interesting :) correct me if im wrong. i earn here everytime i post a discussion or for every comments i got on my discussion?. if i commented in other discussion, do they earn from me or i also earn on my part? and another silly question how can i put smiley here? lol.... thnx for your time
