like to try the only problem is the lack of ingredients and sometimes their is no budget. i like to cook foreign recipes and yet the ingredients is not available in the store so i end up with cooking with no complete ingredients so it fail to imitate the real taste.

I live in the US - and the city and state where I live we are exposed to many different cultures and cuisines. I am Japanese-American, so I know how to cook some Japanese items simply because my mother cooked it. Every week I do try to prepare food of different cultures - just so our menu won't get boring - hee hee. Off the top of my head, I have cooked Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Iranian (Persian), Thai, Chinese . . . I'm sure more - in fact the stuff I cook I probably don't know where they actually originated from! More than cooking different cuisines, I love eating them - hee hee.

We often try different cuisines in our house, but my husband does not like pasta, so it is not something we do. He has made stir fry rice dishes. We love to explore spices and flavors from other lands.

I used to cook various cuisines when my Mom was alive...but it has kind of fallen by the wayside now that it's just me to cook for. I used to cook Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Italian, Indian, and other dishes. Mom used to love experiencing the different flavors of the various nationalities.

I have tried baking as i'm once a baker.. haha =D Other than that, i tried grilling of steaks, baking and preparation of pizzas, making deserts etc, because they are all part of my job.. lol =D
While at home, i have tried my hands on cooking pastas.. haha =D It's not as easy as it seems to be, espeically those really plain looking ones, such as aglio olgio.. hehe ^_^

I try indian dishes espcially malai kofta. It is very easy to prepare but hard to maintain the taste. Everyone like it beos of the taste. I tried this during my college send off party. I called my friends to my home and made tis and everyone appreciated me the way I presented to my college friends. It is my most memorable day in my life.

I could not count pasta as a different cuisine. Nowadays it is a normal dish in most of the countries and it is very easy to prepare. So in my opinion pasta is now an international dish

Of course I have tried cooking Italian and Mexican cuisines, among the dishes I love to make are spaghetti and any kind of pasta cooked and tacos with pita bread. I also love trying new recipes that I thought looks delicious. I'm not good at baking cakes or making cake icings but I can make a good refrigerator cake.

Yeah, i like to cook a lot and some dishes are from other countries too. But the only downsides, some ingredients are very hard to procure and in the local markets most of the times they are not available so eventually even I like to cook the original dishes it does not taste like the original, since it is lacking in some rare spices. Thus, most of the time it is expensive to cook on my own and i rather dine in a restaurant offering international cuisine and have a taste. Though, I could not eat in excess as it is limited but still I could taste the other countries recipes is like a sort of adventure food taster and it is truly fantastic experience to reckon of...

Oh yes, i love cooking too and i also love experimenting on recipes no one still know. I have two recipes i just tried cooking because i have visitors and i am pressed for time. Though i have experimented with that recipes twice already, i want to be sure that other people will like it so i cooked it that day and they all love my recipes. Now that recipes has spread to the whole family and to friends and relatives. My brother abroad even consult me while preparing that food.

Yes,i like cooking and trying different cuisine.
Because it is an interesting thing and if i do it good,my family will have something new to eat.We all know it is boring to eat old cuisine all the time.
Sometimes we go to restaurant, but it is so expensive, so i think ,cook by ourselves is ok! How do you think?
