I often experhience that I just feel sad all of a sudden, with no reasons at all. I feel like crying and all that, I don't know if its a medical condition, or I am just a weird person.
But when the loneliness attacks me, I just want to feel numb, sometimes I sleep to ease it, but crying is the best way to release it, or somebody hugging me. The weird thing is, I don't know the reason behind it.

Develop any habit like reading books, surfing or chatting on net. Replace your loneliness with this habit. Whenever you feel lonely start doing that new habitual activity. I don't know it will help or not.

I agree your suggestion might be an alternative to get out of depression. I hope others try this

Yeah.sometimes, we just need to do some thing to make us busy and we will get the feeling of happiness,relaxation,fullness...from it.And we will also find the world becomes so beautiful and meaningful..I have also had this kind of feeling of loneliness but now I become a happy girl..

yup..just like now... I don't know why I got mood swings..(lately) I haven't been like this before..Is that because I'm getting older? grrr! haha! Oh no..but I think it's just normal, cheer up! You are not alone, I think every person at one point experienced this kind of loneliness.. Whenever I feel lonely I think of the beautiful things that happened in my life.

I don't think you are weird at all, probably just lonely!maybe you should try to hang out with people more often and that might help. Perhaps with more interaction it wouldn't be so frequent. I have frequent feelings of loneliness but my circumstances do that. I am caring for my son who was injured in a wreck. Mostly people don't come to visit us anymore so I feel lonely. I'm kinda getting used to it even though I am generally a very outgoing person.

Thankfully i never feel like that as there are always things that keep me busy as well as there are ways to get to chat to people other than seeing them. The way you discribe you being lonely it sounds like you are getting depressed and are on an all time low.I tend to keep busy no matter what as then i do not worry about anything any more, life is easier as well that way.

you are not alone kafueenu! I am experiencing that too... one moment I am okay then all of a sudden sadness hits me... Are we crazy or something???
Well I guess there is something on us that is making us feel depressed, like we have frustration or something... or we want something which seems to be impossible to attain... no matter how much we tried... Or we simply don't want where we are right now like we want more and expecting too much about ourselves or from other people...
It is a feeling that is within us, which we are sometimes in denial... So it just hits us... for there is an empty space...

Everybody experiences loneliness in life.We cannot be like an island, alone n sometimes deserted. We all need someone to chat to,have a laugh with and all.Sometimes people need time alone, just to chill and that is normal too.I experience that kind of feeling alone and wanting to cry or drink myself to oblivion. And I think that is because I lack someone to be intimate with, someone to share my thoughts with.I then feel like I want everything to go dark.I close the curtains and make sure that my flat is comletely dark, then I lie in bed for hours, depressing and crying, not wanting to talk to anyone. So don't worry, everyone gets like this, even those who don't wnt to admit it.

I'm experiencing it right now.. I'm alone at home and my girlfriend is.. I think in church, so.. no one to talk to. Worst feeling in the world.. I get restless and bored.. I pace around a lot and sometimes I even just start to worry about people for no reason. It's just how we are, I guess.

Well, I feel the same sometimes with you. I think it's normal that people fell sudden loneliness. Generally, there are several days in a month we will have that feeling. I don't think we should pay much attention to it but just try to keep positive thinking I think it's ok.

I feel that too but I have my reasons why I'm sad. I missed my life back then my friends are around unlike now I don't have a friends around. I'm feel that I'm left behind and I don't know where my life is heading right now. I'm clueless if what gonna happened to me without my parents. I'm still depressed with my health condition and it is hard for me to get over it and to move forward.

Maybe its a deep down subconscious thing. There are times where I am lying in bed just crying or feeling sad all of a sudden with no particular reason. I guess it helps to let those kind of emotions out once in a while so it doesn't consume you or build up later on when you explode at someone. Sometimes I think it helps to talk to someone you know like a family member or a friend or consult a psychiatrist.

yes, everytime. I live alone and to feel lone, lonely and/or lonesome is part of my daily life. We'll I think it's normal to feel that way especially going home with no one waiting for you after a tiring a day of work but the only reward i get from it is, no sacrifice no victory...
