The Best Anti-Virus

Avast - Avast Home Edition

I have tested many different Anti-Virus Programs Including:Kaspersky AVG Free Microsoft Security Essentials McAfee Avast Home Edition and, Norton After comparing features and testing with real viruses i found that the best Anti-Virus is from Avast, Avast provides a home edition and different Bussiness versions for a yearly premium. Avast Home Edition provides a Web Shield unlike AVG and others which offer no protection while on the Web, Avast products do not slow down your computer while they work in the background, in the case that you computer is about to become infected from the internet Avast stops the connection protecting the user from infection. Check them out at www.avast.com

I've encountered many free anti-virus that are just good at the start but later it will slow down computer like AVG and Nod32, Avira. How about Avast how long have you been using it? May anti-virus perform good at first but not when they are already about a month or so. Many anti-virus gives unnecessary pop ups and offers to upgrade too. What about Avast. What disadvantage did you notice so far? I want to try it but still quite doubtful.

I believe that there is no perfect antivirus and i am not willing to pay for it. that is wy i stick with free ones (i currently use AVG Free). I just keep it updated always. I know I shouldnt just rely on antivirus because they cant do all the jobs so i have other security programs like adblockers, anti rootkits, anti adwares, anti spywares. they all are freewares and were made by expert online antimalware volunteers. tey are all compatible with each other and they work hand in hand. so far, since i have been introduced by (free!!!) online expert volunteers to these products, i havent experienced anything unlike before.i was thought to keep my system clean and secured. they emphasized that not a single product is capable of detecting everything and protecting your system from everything. everyday, tons of newly invented viruses, malwares and trojans pop out in every corner of the world so it is important to keep your security programs updated. it is not enough to trust just one single product but find products which are compatible with each other and can do the jobs that the others cant. :D

I agree on the fact that no Anti-Virus is perfect, but from what i've seen Avast gets as close as possible to perfect for free. AVG Free doesnt have a webshield, while Avast home does, for Free. By the way, Spy Bot Search and Destroy is also a great program, its also Free

The best is Kaspersky... Try it and you will like it. It can detect trojan virus etc... You can get it free... Just search it in the net.

I checked Kaspersky's website and there is NO FREE VERSION, so.. you must have gotten it illegaly, instead of doing that i recommend just getting Avast Home Edition instead of breaking the law.

Hi Friend! Avast is not a bad Antivirus, but is not as you think the best. I am an experienced professional in this matter. Almost all the antiviruses have the web protection. I don't know why you couldn't detect it in the other one like AVG, Kaspersky, ESET, McAfee,... They all stop the connection when you want to see a website with malicious code or downloading and saving some malwars. In my opinion Kaspersky is (One of the) best antiviruses nowadays. I can't say it definitely because its a competition which is going on every day. For more information you can check comparison website such as www.av-comparatives.org Happy Mylotting!

I have also used many anti-virus programs and currently use Avast. I like it and have not had any viruses since using it. I am slowly converting to a MAC user. My desktop is a PC but my laptop is a MAC. I really like the MAC much better and the operating system is more similar to Linux so at this point anyway, you really don't even need an anti-virus program because the OS doesn't leave open ports for stuff to sneak in through like Windows does. Although I have heard that Windows 7 does a better job at this than previous versions. But if you have a Windows based PC, I would also recommend Avast!

Helo smbBlogger me too used several Anti-virsu, like AVG, NORTON, McAfee, but didn't yet tried avast. In those option do feel like Avg and McAfee were the best used by me, but also due to online gaming used Norton Antivirus and was effective in it.Well its really hard to be protecting our pc specially when online, as there have been innovations in the skills of hackers. So more the adv version we have the more better security we have.Anyway wish you luck with your current Anti-virus, Happy mylotting.
