Do you place your mobile phones in your pocket?

I have always had my phone in my pocket ever since I have had a phone and now I have the I-Phone and I have never damaged any of my screens by having them in my pocket. keeping them in your pocket is well a lot easier than having to look through your bag or briefcase everytime your phone rings lol,

I always put my cellphone in my pocket, but it has never been damaged or scratched in any way. I think this is true because my cellphone is placed in an empty pocket rather than with my keys or with any other object.

My phone closes so there's not much damage to the screen if I leave it in my pocket. Also, I keep better tabs on my phone when it's in my pocket. If it's in my bag then I might wind up leaving my bag behind and then being without my phone (which isn't a big deal a lot of the time but it is kind of annoying because I use my phone to tell the time).

I wear my phone in a special phone case, so the screen won't get damaged. The more serious problem people should worry about, is actually radiation, that is emitted by phones. So it would be safe to keep the phones close to the body as few as possible. For example, when I come to school, I take the phone out of the pocket and keep it on the table, so it won't affect my body so much.

I don't think putting the mobile is going to harm the screen of the mobile. Although I protecting cover for my mobile which protects it, even it fall down. But putting the mobile in the pocket even if protecting cover is not there, is ok. Because mobile's screen is not so soft that it will break.

In my point of view the cell phone should be placing in bag or like some hand bags ,why i am saying this the cellphones are most probably theft by the peoples who are using to place in pockets,and also broken ,because the person who wearing tight dress or tight jeans something,they got problem if they are immediately fallen or they sitting at a bend position means it will broken, so you better you use the cellphone by placing in the bag not to pockets, so this is my opinion about the cell phone using.

Hi, airshelia. I would never place my mobile phone in my pocket, ever. I would be too concerned about my cell phone falling out of my pocket. I would not try to leave it in my pocket. And, I would also worry that I may accidentally sit on it or something hard may touch it and crush the screen. I usually keep my cell phone in my cell phone cover. That way, it will be protected from anything that may break it.

When I walk my dogs, I do put the phone in my pocket, as I never know when and if I will get a call. I put it in my purse otherwise when I go out. When I am at home, it remains on my computer table. I suppose you are right about it being dangerous in our pocket, and that is why I only put it there when I walk, and that is for a short period of time, and when I get back home, it goes back on my computer table. Actually, there are days, when I am walking, that I will leave it home. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I'm a man and my cell phone is Nokia 3310. It's durable one. So, I don't have to worry if I place it in my pocket or in hand. It doesn't matter even it fall on the ground as it happened several times. I'm happy with my cell phone. Good day!

i've alays found that as long as you are sensible (as in not sitting on your phone) then keeping it in a pocket is safer. it is harder to steal and things can easily fall out of a bag or you can leave the bag somewhere by accident.

Hello Airasheila, I do place my cell phone in my pocket. I do have to watch though because the bigger the pocket the easier it is slip out and get lost. Luckly I have been able to fined in my car seat or at home in my chair that I sit in. I am trying to better to keep in my purse. But I do fined myself still keeping in the pocket. The same with my glasses I need to waer to drive. I seem to put them in the cup holder instead of glass holder they give at eye doctors to keep them safe and not get scratched. I was looking for the case this morning in the car and I now I cannot fined it. I do beleive it is in my car and I will fined it. Thanks and have a great day Sincerely unique16

Hi, yes i observed many people using the mobiles and having them in their pockets .it is not a good habit to place them close to self.it harms the mobile as well as us.i dont use it regularly only when i go out of my home it would be in the purse.i always miss the calls or messages.but on returning home then i would like to answer the missed calls.

i have always placed my mobile phone in my pocket.... it far more convenient than to look for it in my bag.... besides i run no risk of forgetting it.... it is one of the essentials that i carry before leaving my place....

If you're looking to keep your same cellphone for all your life then yes i would recommend you don't put it in your pocket. But seriously, when you buy a phone you tend to watch out for it at first, like any new thing new shoes, new clothes, etc. But comes a time where it becomes a habit to have the phone and you tend to loosen up and well you wouldn't care all that much because you know that in while you'll be getting rid of it.

I have my blackberry in a case & it's clipped to my belt. That's how I've always carried my cell phones.

Hello airasheila me too often keep my mobile in my pocket for safety reasons and don't think that it will do any harm to the LCD screen of it.Well instead its an good practice to follow as sometimes we may forget our mobiles due to placing it anywhere also its easy to interact when rec call or message, its queit a bit handy to keep in pocket.Even some of my friends as well as mine sis lost their mobile phones just because they use to keep it in a bag or on table etc places.Anyways keep it up with your mobile and participation at mylot, Happy mylotting.

Yes,I was used to putting my phone in my pocket,beacause it is convenient,and it is easy to hear the phones when someone called me. I think that it will do harm on the phone,and do harm on myself too. I will give up this bad custom.

i actually put my cellular phones on my bag or a purse that i'm using.. i dont like to put my cellular phone on my pockets. hmmmmmm... for safety reasons, i think it is better to keep the phone near you but not necessarily inside the pockets...

now a days there are those pouches sold in markets for mobile phones...its of different six=zes and comes for all different sets.....i do keep my corby in a pouch and then carry it in my pocket.in that way it does not harm the lcd screen and also its a pretty safe way to carry your cell phone
