Hi jugsjugs. I can see with the number of post you have, you might not came up with those numbers unless there is something fun in here. Money wise, this is not a get rich site for us to stay longer. There were times that I asked myself, it is worth being here? But yes it is worth, because I am here. Isn't it amazing how many people listened to you, read your post, care to respond it, we have no idea how it is important for us as human to build a social network as fun at this one.

You are right Mommyboo. Nobody told me exactly but I read it a few times here in mylot. Some of mylots friends too when we are chatting online, they mentioned that mylot is not the best way to earn money. Partly,they are right. But as we can see, there are many people believed in mylot. At least here, they won't invest anytime. They will not get scammed unless they will follow some posters' recommendations just to earned referrals. Mylot is more of a community, a discussion of what is going us around us and it is very interesting to be a part of the solution of someone's problem. I personally gained some good friends here, I read every good conversation of my interest and participated some discussions as long as I can. Mylot is part of my online routine.

Well said, Allie. It's seems to me that most people coming back to mylot every now and then or if they have time it's because of the discussions that every one shared. It is not like fooling ourselves as we write responses with each other. It is a really life experience and we are also gaining knowledge from everyone. It is not a forum for one specific country only it is worldwide as long as there is Internet in there.

Hi zfdavid Welcome to mylot. You know what, you are very lucky to read this discussion while you are still new in mylot. I least you can see what are older members thought about earning on mylot. How they enjoyed the forum. At least some of your questions in mind has been answered. Unlike me, when I started mylot, I just have my own research for my personal questions and doubts about how this things work. The one who referred me to this site have done his homeworkof orienting me as to what to expect but not all. That is why, I decided to open this topic as part of my research and investigations. English is my second language too and I am also learning more english here. At least there are mylotters who read and responds to our posts.

Hi Tawny. You are right. I like your line, "why does it always have to be about getting something?" Very true. I am comfortable with this site. I even join forums without any compensation but I regularly post there. There are so many interesting discussions here in mylot. And most of them are part of our life. So we can always relate and share. There are things that we can share to our family and friends but here in mylot, we are free and we can get some answers and ideas that we are looking for. Yes, we don't earn in mylot much, but it is one way of knowing how other people are doing in their online earning.

Hi Rosekiss. Thanks for joining this discussion. All of the responses you mentioned are common to almost all people who joined this discussion and that is the common thing with all of us. For me too, the earning is one factor. But look at the earnings, it is not that much unless you will decide to become full time in here. But it can't be. When we are sad, and wanted to have an outlet for our sadness we can share it here. Although we still need a counselor if it is really bad and someone might recommend it too.

I have heard some people specially young ones are quitting there studies because they wanted to earn online and even quit looking for a job and focus on online earning. I think you will stay here for good becuase there are always people here (old and new) keep coming back to open some interesting topics and discussions.

Your earnings is based on the quality posts and responses you made. It is not just a one or two liner responses. We need to make our posts a real discussion. If you notice some of the older members here, look at the ways they response to some discussions, observed the length of there post? That is why when reply posts we need to choose some discussion that are really interested, something that we can contribute to that author for her topic. It is not your response is poor. Look for some good topics for discussions to join or build your own and keep the discussions going. It is not enough that we posts something and we got too many responses, I guess we will not earn on that unless we keep the discussions going, that is to reply to their comments, just my two cents.

Hi kaylachan. It's good to see you again here. See? Even if we did not meet in person and we only know each user's names plus the responses, it seems very familiar. As if we know each other for long.
