Have you been visited McDonald lately? I drove my girlfriend's nephews to McDonald last night, and we were on the drive - thru. Both kids were big fan of French fries, and Chicken Selected. They also like extra sauce to dip with them. So, I requested an additional sauce, the guy told me that I have to pay extra 25 cents for the sauce. Because it is the new rule; when customer request additional sauce beyond that the sauce originally come with the meal, a sub-charge is committed. Oh my gosh, it was just like robbing our money. I told them forget about it. not to mention how expensive their meals right now, and I could go somewhere better, like Arby or Wendy's.

I think it depends on who's working & who owns that franchise of McD's. I've asked for extra ketchup before and sometimes I get a couple other times a handful. They are probably cutting their expenses like everyone else. That's why when we go out we never ask for extra anything unless they are complimentary to the meal. I hate being charged .50 for an extra tbs of sour cream ect when I could of gone to the store and bought a 16oz container for $1 KWIM?

yeah, you are right. We are here to aim to cut cost of our daily expenses. I just couldn't figure how they could charge me for extra 25 cents. For kids, otherwise, I won't go to McDonald's. There is full of competition out there.

I've been to McDonalds a few times in the last few months but I haven't ordered anything that required sauce. That is pretty silly they charge for extra sauce. I could see if you wanted sauce for something that didn't come with sauce. But if you ordered say, chicken nuggets, then you should be allowed at least 2 sauces before being charged for extra. I don't know if they do that at our McDonalds or not.

I have no idea why they would even try to get away with this kind of treatment. This is the kind of thing that could alienate even a good customer. I think under these kinds of conditions I would go inside and ask for whoever is in charge and inform said employee that they could keep their extra sauce and also keep all the food they thought they were going to sell and eat it. I would also check my receipt and see if the extra charge is, indeed, included on it.

Here the dipping sauce is still free of charge. It seems to be strange that McDonald's will charge extra money for the sauce because I think it should be free. If the sauce needs to charge extra money, then probably later the tissue will have to charge money, too. It doesn't make a sense. I love China

Well this has happened in the uk for as long as i can remember but they only charge 5 pence each so 25 cents is higher than we are paying but i agree you buy a meal so you think they would let you have a few more sauces for free...
