I'm working through tax season in marketing. Any good ideas on marketing a tax service?

If you are setting it up online always give something away free. It can be something simple like top 10 deductions we miss. Or like ways to save on taxes and not have to owe in the end or something. It's good marketing to give something free. It draws people to the site and the more people you get to the site, the more likely it is they will stick around and become potential customers!

Helpful blog articles with 3% keyword insertion is great for SEO. If they give genuine advice people will flock to use it - and come back again, too. Traffic jams time!

If you've got the wherewithal, streaming media is good - a helpful video, something like that. PDF downloads are useful, too. And lots of interesting case studies (made up or real). A blog, as well.
Oh, and don't forget the ubiquitous press releases.
Not that I'm offering to write them or anything, mind ...
