Parents who introduce the wealth to their underage children. Good or Bad?

I often meet with parents(from among the rich people) who had introduced under-age children with their wealth and luxury. Their interaction is also limited by their parents, they should only hang out with kids who come from wealthy families. There are social stratification in here, along with the limitation of the children of the middle class(poor).
