I certainly will not be deleting you; I’ve just found you as a friend! I like your discussions and it is a shame that so many come here and leave their sense of humour some place else, but what can you do? A break is always good and it does clear the head and before you know you will feel like your old self again! I have been here responding on and off but haven’t started a discussion for over a month and a half because I’ve had child and husband at home on holidays and interstate and overseas visitors along with Christmas and hosting a New Year’s Eve party! I was frustrated at the lack of time I had here and I am terribly behind with my notifications but the break has been good. I’ll be back at the beginning of next month when my daughter starts school again all ready to go…I hope…Enjoy your break and see you around the board!

I must have missed something else as I was not aware that things had become rough for you too Thea A break will clear things and then you will be back even raring to go more than before. We all have something happen that kicks us off for a bit but then we return because it's in our system now I am not deleting anyone while they are still alive and kicking!

Thea when have you ever been fun and scintillating ....... just kidding. We all need a break from here at somepoint even if it's just from coming up with new fun and scintillating discussions. It makes us appreciate the fun and friends we have on here when we do return to full active service, so to speak. As for those who can't see the funny side of things, well remember it is their loss.

I certainly hope that your vacation from mylot doesn't last for a really long time because I value both the discussions that you start and I value the discussions that I've started that you contribute in. I've learned a lot about you and I consider myself lucky to think that I've been able to build some sort of a semblance of a relationship with you. Remember as you take your mylot break that there are people here that are anxiously awaiting your return.

I've had a lot of work lately and I still have a lot to do for the next month or so, so I rarely visited myLot... I'm taking a peak at a few discussions tonight, and I decided yours are worth looking at. And let me tell you something: if I decide your discussions are worth the while, you shouldn't care about what every moron has to say. They are like small pebbles rolling away, while people like me and you are here to make the site better and will stay well anchored. And that's coming from someone that doesn't lack modesty.

Mornin...dear thea....I had to take a sabbatical, too! Maker of my own destiny, but I had enough turmoil in my private life, and there was just too much "trashing and bashing" here to help keep my spirits on an even keel. I am a believer in Christmas, love the spirit....to each his own....but each time some-one here bashed Christmas, I could only think of my 2 friends, and 2 acquaintances that had just lost their lives in the plane crash...and how awful there season would be. Hello, Thea. Well, it's everybody's loss - even the ones who've had a sense of humour bypass, because they'll only realise what they're missing when it's missing. We need a bit of humour, because there's enough dark stuff going on, and if we let it get to us, we'd all be going around telling people that what was actually really funny wasn't funny at all. And yes, you've earned the respect and love of lots of people here - and I'm right at the top of the list. Hang on - I suppose Lamb's got the top spot, because he keeps your feet warm? Oh well, it's an honour to come second to him.

No way to delete you, period. Anyway, thea, once you start a joke / fun / mock talking, in RL or VR, espect half of readers/listeners won't get it. They won't get it on first sight even if prevented 2 weeks before is gonna be a joke. Old time, spartans (sound familiar to you, were part of old Greeks I think) were killing new born with visible defects ... unfortunately nobody didn't think to apply this to all humans and the criterion to be: no sense of humour ? = bang ! ... How can you leave us? Is it fair to punish Lamb for the crimes of Cub? LOL. I dont understand why do you bother reading responses that dont really make sense in relation to the discussion! You want to respond, ask them to read the content in the first place! Some people really need humor injections. How can we go through life without it? :( I think you should be coming up with more such discussions, so that they know how much their opinions are valued. :)

Hi thea, I am sorry to hear that you are not going to be active here anymore. It come as a surprise to me that you made a drastic decision to stop posting despite being a popular figure here. I hope you don't take matters in mylot too personal as there might be an oversight in some of my responses to your discussions. I realized there is a gap in the mentality of people from the west and from the Asian regions. What might be a joke to people from the west might not be the same for people from our Asian countries. There is always something to learn from both sides and getting offended by people who are half cooked in their English should not happen in mylot.

Hi thea, I did not see you for a long time now and I though you already left myLot until a few days ago when I saw your comment on a discussion that I am involved (I can not remember whether that discussion started by me or not). MyLot is just like offline life. We meet a lot of people here and what unique is it is from all around the world. If we can argue or disagree with people who know us well or even our relatives, so it is more likely to happen here too. It is only how we handle the situation make us different from the rest. Since you already set your mind that you would not be as active as before, I think all the Greek interest would gone by the wind, especially about you beloved Panantiakos team. I saw you are active on Helium now. Already visit a few of your articles and it is good stuff. But I find one of it no longer available (Why dieting doesn't work). I do not know if it is only me that can not look at it or others face the same problem too. I hope you would enjoy whatever you do in you life out there and good luck for whatever you are planning to do.
