Hey guys I´ve been using this service for quite a while and have been charged 0$ for my calls, let me say I am calling to the US from Spain, so yeah... I´m saving a whole lot! Anyways I thought I should share that with you guys, specially for those who have their loved ones far away. So to my profile and click on the gigantic banner, you won´t miss it The company is called talkster (rebtel took over it but is still free). This is how it works lets say John wants to call Mary, Mary lives in the United States and John lives in the UK.... John calls Mary, Mary pick up -"Mary call me back at the number you see in your caller ID" (John stays on the line) Mary calls back John and BOOM! There you go free call! Im excited about this service because I don't have to use the computer to make my long distances anymore!!! If you have any questions let me know!

My dad's over seas and it will be hot if we can communicate with him for free without computer. :) YAYAYAY!!! I love you! Thanks so much. I'll have to try it out yet. :P

Hey, I have a question. Does one person HAVE to call the other person to use that number first? Or can they just use that number anyway, without having to call that person, to save money? Like... give the number through to the other person via email or something?

Yeah, that's true, i think the skype is good way to talk to your friends or family. Several years ago, i had try it out and i talked to my english friends, that's all free, hope to get your good news. Best wishes from Xiaohui!

Skype is for PC to PC calls, this other service is for cel to cell or land line to cell etc, (You can also set up your skype for free). You cant give the same number to a bunch of people, one per number per person. Like lets say you call your dad in the us and you are in the UK you get a local number for UK therefore the call is free (depending on your local provider) then dad picks up, then your dad should get a number on the caller id make sure your number is not hidden) then you stay on the line and tell your dad to hang up and call you back. Then after a few seconds the call gets connected and there you go, talk for as loooooong as you like. Is pretty simple, you might think the calling back thing is a hassle, but really it is free after all so I dont complain at all. Like I said before every person gets a different number, I call my friends and my family and they all have a different number.
