Kleenex in the Wash

I just did a load of darks and forgot to check the pockets. Sure enough, there are bits of tissue all over my clean, wet laundry. We don't have a dryer, so I had to shake out the clothes as much as I could to get the kleenex off before hanging them to dry in the basement. I'm hoping whatever is still on the clothes will come off more easily once they are dry. Has this ever happened to you? Do you know how to get kleenex bits off of your clothes? I don't have time to re-wash them all. Thanks

Hi, GoGirl149. I would say, maybe, you can sprinkle some cool water onto the kleenex. I hope that by doing this, it will come off easily. I hate when tissue attaches to my clothing. It makes it so hard for it to get off.

oh yeah, this has happened to me more than once and it's a big pain. so now i make sure i check all the pockets before putting my clothes in the washer. rewashing them will help but even then you will still have some left over. drying them will help too but again, expect some that still try to cling on to your clothes. hey, maybe you can try using a vacuum cleaner after they are dry? that thought just came to me suddenly.
