haair dye help

ok, so I have this friend and her hair is super sensitive I went to go streak her hair today and because her hair is so sensitive within 5 min her hair turned blond and the streaks were red. is there any special hair dyes I can use on her hair that isn't so strong. Don't get me wrong she has red streaks but her roots are dark blonde is any one has advice please let me know thank you
