Ever had a major operation?

Much as I'd like to say I'm a brave guy, the thought of being in a hospital or having a major surgery scares me, a lot. Going to the doctor every month or two for a routine check-up is something that I don't look forward to. I hate hospitals, the smell of it, everything that's associated with it. Hospitals represents your own mortality. I haven't had major operation yet, and I wish that I don't have one now or even in the near future.
