Can the World R.I.P (Reach in Peace)?

From the past we can hear or see many people or organization in this World trying to make Peace come to this world or make this world a better place. Like as Michael Jackson's song... And sometime, people or organization that trying to bring peace become the one that feel no peace on earth when they are on the way to find it. But they keep trying, 'till now. So, Do you feel R.I.P?

Actually, I really believe the world can reach in peace. Although now there are a lot of probloms in this world, we may just do our best to make it better. The world may be never perfect, but I insist that it will be in peace finally as long as everybody keeps the wish of peace. I hope my answer can satisfy you.

Quite sad to say this, but I do believe that the general condition of this planet will worsen rather than improve. From an environmental point of view, this World is becoming less and less habitable. From a cultural point of view, cultural conflicts are becoming more complex and heated. From a moral point of view, human thinking and behaviours are becoming more and more evil. Truly there are still many nice and noble people out there, but in general people are getting more selfish because of the less favourable living conditions. People tend to protect their interst more when resources are scarce in their surrounding. That's natural instinct. So I'm sorry that the World might not be able to R.I.P.

I'm hoping that the advancement in Science might create a whole new World for our future generations, but not on this planet. Suppose Science eventually brings the human race to another habitable planet. Resources are abundant when human race first reaches there and so people don't need to fight for anything in order to survive. Cultural boundaries are initially dissolved because the geography on Mars is totally different from the Earth, there's no more the US, China, Iraq, UK, etc. Every geographical/cultural/racial boundary is waiting to be redefined. Living conditions are ideal at the very start and it takes centuries for human beings to ruin the planet up to the point of what it is like Earth now. With all these favourable factors, how long do you think that planet can stay in peace?

The world in peace is a dream - no, no matter what peacekeepers do, the world will still be chaotic. Did you know that many so-called peacekeepers are actually soldiers?

World peace is an impossible dream, unless every human being is wiped out on the face of the earth. After thousands of years of wars and violence, nothing has changed. Weapons of destructions have improved and people have become greedier. World peace is a worthwhile wish, but I doubt if it will happen anytime soon.

Near to impossible and it's hard to be true. But that's the only dream that every single human on earth hanging to.. But sometimes the concept about their dream are different each other. There are groups that think peace will happen through weapons and, etc. So, maybe that causes peace is a hard thing to be true. Thanks, nocturn98.

I believe that world can reach in peace with the help of all the individuals in this world it is not just a country or organization's responsibility towards peace. All off us should contribute to the peace and then only its possible. Forget about religion, culture, cast, color and anything which comes on the way to achieve peace.
I feel we will achieve this , may take time. The first step should be fight against terrorism and create positive atmosphere around us. Educate uneducated peoples around us about global village.

Hi Ajay! Hmm... I believe too. Even the possibility is near to zero. The most important thing that I believe about peace on earth is it will happen just when the world ends. Forgetting about religions, culture, etc... That's must be hard to do. For example, a couple that in a relationship sometime face hard time to become one in some aspects. It happens too for every people. So, a lot of work to do if we want to achieve peace. Thanks Ajay for response.
