Do you know your name meanings? Do you like using your real name on line?

Hi, Ice! My on-line name is the one my students chose for me many years ago, when I first got a computer. My real name is OK - nothing fascinating, but nothing that's a problem. I thought it was pretty foolish when my husband's boss demanded that he change his name from Juan to John, because he sounded too foreign. It's really ridiculous now, after almost 35 years, when most of our area is hispanic, and Juan is probably the most common man's name!

The meaning of my name is: " master of the people", but not those who own them, I mean those, who guide them! I like my name very much, but I don't use it so often in the web! My name means omeone really religious but i am not so. I never use my real name anywhere online even when i am chatting with someone, thats another talk that i dont usually chat these days. I am not happy with my name as its so uncommon and different. I have not heard people saying that he hates his name , even if someone does, he would not say it.

When I was a kid I didn't like the name Randal, and went by Randy.Now that I'm an adult I prefer to go by Randal. When I was younger sometimes, I wanted a different name, but there wasn't much I could do about my given name. My last name Purdy, means"By God", according to our Homeland of England.

My English name is Lily, because I like the flower lily very much and I want to be pureful. I really appreciate the name my parents gave to me. I like them. My name is Stanislav. It's a combination of two words. Stani means stand, slav means glory. In a combination the name means - Be Glorious or something like this.
