royal rumble is upon us in two weeks. personally, this is one of my favorite ppvs in wwe. so far, what is scheduled are the three title matches and the main event which is the royal rumble. basically for the championship matches, i want sheamus to retain his title over randy orton. i think randy orton will do well letting a newer superstar put one over himself. i don't want to see sheamus or even randy orton turning into a hero or a face for raw. been awhile but i think there weren't any recent matchups featuring two heels at wwe so this is a welcome development for me. for the ecw championship, i want ezekiel jackson to win this one. of course, it wouldn't be a clean win as we see william regal interfering (perhaps hitting christian with the belt or a chair) so jackson is able to pin christian. afterwards, both ezekiel jackson and willaim regal gang up on the fallen champion and we see vladimir kozlov running towards the ring and making the save. this sets up a good rivalry between kozlov and jackson. i think at this point in time, ecw needs to hand over the reins to the newer superstars. vladimir kozlov and ezekiel jackson fit the bill to a t. don't get me wrong, i like christian a lot and acknowledge what he has done for ecw as its main face but its tiem that ecw explore its other options and start building up the other stars in its roster.
for the world heavyweight championship match, i must admit that i'm torn over this one. it would be great to see undertaker retain becasue there is no way in god's green earth that rey mysterio can beat taker in an even match. but i was thinking, if taker retains, then there wouldn't be a rematch between him and shawn michaels at wrestlemani 26. this is one rematch that i want to see and taker and hbk will likely put up a great show. however, my concern here is that i don't want taker's wrestlemania win streak end and to see him get another win over hbk at wrestlemania for the second straight year will be a bit predictable. anyway to remedy this i think i want to see this match ending in a no contest will both batista and shawn michaels interfering. just as when taker has mysterio on a tombstone, hbk comes into the ring and gives the sweet chin music to taker. as mysterio gets his bearing to hit taker with a frog splash, batista comes out from the crowd and pulls mysterio down and hits the batista bomb on him. the match ends in no contest. anyway, a lot has to play out for all this to happen but you get my drift. taker now has a legitimate reason to go after shawn michaels at wrestlemania 26.
going to the royal rumble, i expect to see the usual faces and some surprises at the rumble. one wrestler that i want to see make a successful return and perhaps win it all is edge. i want to see edge enter at number 15 and kick some serious a$$ at the rumble. other wrestlers that i want to see make a good showing at the rumble are shelton benjamin, john morrison, drew mcintyre, and cm punk.
anyway, what do you want to see at the royal rumble? who among the wwe superstars do you want to be involved in the main event? and who do you want to win it all at the rumble this year?
fellow wwe fans, feel free chime.

Hello Allen. I'm also a big fan of the Royal Rumble PPV. It was a big surprise for me also to see that the WWE Championship match will be between two heels. I don't know why I have the feeling that something will happen with the Legacy after this PPV. Maybe Orton will lose and he'll be kicked out from the team. That will be fun. For the ECW Championship I'd also like Jackson to win and have a rivalry with Kozlov for the title afterwards. Actually I'd like Kozlov to win the title at Wrestlemania. The World Heavyweight Championship match will be fun to watch, and, like you said, I'd love to see some interferences. As for Taker's reign in Wrestlemania... I'd like Edge to be the one who ends it. He's my favourite wrestler. It will be great to appear at the rumble like John Cena did, as a big surprise after his injury, but I doubt that this will happen. The best thing I can wish for is for Edge to recover for Wrestlemania. It will be fun to watch in the rumble John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin, since they always produce entertaining moves. Also Kane will have a big part in this too. Kofi is a favourite to stay in the match until the last 4 at least. Let's just wait and see what will happen.

hi matusalem.
randy orton gettign kicked out of legacy would be great indeed. randy orton is an effective heel but wwe has to put up other superstars who would be an anti-heel to orton's heel. i'm not saying putting up another face but rather another superstar who would be heel but would basically be anti-orton. sheamus is a good pick but i think ted dibiase jr fits the bill to a t. never mind cody rhodes! lol! i think goldust is a better wrestler in terms of in-ring skills and mic skills than cody. lol! love to see both cody rhodes and goldust teaming up as a tag team. they would give fits to the other superstars in the roster.
really don't like to see taker's win streak end. i think that this is one win streak that wwe should kept intact. just my opinion though. anyway, i read before that wwe creative was trying to put up ted dibiase jr as the one who will end taker's streak since it was the million dollar man who introduced taker in the wwe.
anyway, i guess we can all come up with our scenarios but bottomline is we have to wait for the actual rumble to take place to know what will exactly happen.

I completely agree with you. Orton is a great heel and I really like him like that. But I'd like to see another heel come after him. DiBiase would be great in this role. Also he has potential to become a good wrestler, and a feud with Orton would be very good for his career(in wrestling terms only, because a real feud with Orton will destroy his carrer since Orton is very close friend with Triple H). I would like new faces also(but not Kofi, he was artificially pushed in my opinion), someone like Evan Bourne. I hope that something will change soon in the WWE.

the kofi-orton rife is good for a couple of episodes but i don't think it would make a good storyline. i'd like kofi to match up with mysterio though. two highflyers going at it would be a nice match. evan bourne went up against mysterio but nothing much came from it. a kofi-bourne match up will be interesting as well.
anyway, agree with you that wwe should come up with better storylines and rivalries to keep us fans interested.

Out of all the newcomers for the royal rumble, John Morrison has the most potential for me. I do hope the WWE will give him a chance. I don't understand why they give Sheamus a chance for the spotlight, he isn't entertaining for me at all. I agree with you that I hope Edge will make a comeback in this pay per view. I want to add though I hope there will be a new good storyline for Chris Jericho in the Royal rumble because as you know by now, I am big Jerichoholic. lol.

john morrison has had his shot at the spotlight when he won the intercontinental title from rey mysterio. he had a good title run but had to lose it to drew mcintyre, which i think, is being given a push by wwe creative. john morrison as a face isn't as entertaining as he was a heel. anyway, his rivalry with drew mcintyre is still relatively new so i think john morrison doesn't win the rumble but instead gets tangled up with drew mcintyre again. anyway, i like to see drew mcintyre to win the rumble and challenge sheamus for the championship. i like to see two heels going at it. of course i like to see drew mcintyre win as wwe has not had a double title holder for sometime and i think drew mcintyre will do well as such.
yeah, edge coming back will be great for wwe. hopefully, he moves to raw when he returns and becomes a heel to many of the younger superstars in that show. i think it will be good for the show and wwe in general.

being a wrestling fan of past wwe matches i can say predicting whos going to win the royal rumble match is easily predictable. all you have to do is go with the storylines in wwe to make the best prediction. you won't see people not getting involved in major storylines winning the royal rumble. i really don't know whats going on much in wwe as of the current like your self so i can't make a good prediction. if undertaker is going into his last wrestlemania and he knows and is planning on it being his last his streak will probably end to who ever he faces at his last wrestlemania. it would only be suited to give someone a boost in value. i have heard his last wrestlemania is going to be in the year 2013 so i guess that would be wrestlemania 29 but than again thats a rumor i've heard. i would guess you might see vince mcmahon vs. bret hart at wrestlemania 26 considering the low blow bret got at the end of raw when he hosted it. it was good to see bret in wwe again.

hi elmiko.
i understand what you are saying. i think we see taker for another year or two until he finally hangs up his wrestling boots. i don't want taker's winning streak end at wrestlemania. if it were up to me, taker retires from wwe with an unblemished winning record at wrestlemania. i agree though that the wrestler who wins over taker at wrestlemania immediately gets a big boost in value but i just don't see the streak ending.
agree with you that we may see a match between bret hart and vince mcmahon in the upcoming wrestlemania with that low blow that vince gave to the hitman. hopefully, vince shows up at royal rumble and bret puts one over vince to further stir the conflict between these two personalities. this sets up nicely for a match at wrestlemania. hopefully, it is a no disqualification anything goes street match.
