Hello Lotters, We had a party last last Sunday and the usual, food and family members visiting. but at the same time it was also inaguration of my cousins wood made tree house(i think). and once surprising gift from my brother, all this time i thought it was just another book and it turned out to be a "NEW" cell phone, i was touched and my mom saw me smile for the first time after two days of being sad. But i have no one to talk or text to. uhmm. i know it's a violation to give personal info,so if any one who wants to be my text mate i mean those who like texting a lot just let me know through PM. i swear, it's been lonely since i no longer have contacts with my other friends. am not hoping to those abroad, are you kidding too expensive I just want to get to know another mylotter (most specially pinoy) on another level.if it's alright that is.

Wow, congratulations for getting that new phone. In that way at least you can get to have contact with your friends.^_^ I am going to purchase a phone hopefully this week. Im still thinking of what day to go out and buy it cause I might have a full schedule this week. Though at least I have reserved a unit from the store so I dont have to worry about getting a stock. Maybe you can get contact with friends abroad.LOL As long as they have a Smart/Globe Roaming Sim Card. You can avail of the unlimited text promos which wouldnt cost anything if you send a message to them. Im not fond of texting these days anymore. Im cutting back on the costs. I usually just use my phone for important things these days. Though of course I still read my friends' forwarded messages, and if they would inquire about something or they need my help about anything, they can always send a message and Ill of course reply as well. Enjoy your new phone!^_^

Oh my, that's a lot of sim cards. Great that your new phone has a new sim card. You dont have to go out and buy another one. You'd like pinoy myLotters, but not those in other countries even if they're pinoy? Well, Im sure you'll find someone here. I guess most members here are from another country, or are busy offline. Sorry if Im one of them, I just got past the "unlimited texting phase".

Hello bjcyrix, You know the most unfortunate thing is that i lost three sim cards, they're another smart, globe and a sun sim simply because my phone broke a 2 months ago. the new phone also added with a new sim as well. frankly, i only want pinoy mylotters to be my usual txt mates, but it seems no body wants it so that's fine.

New phone? That's just awesome. I love it, totally.. What model is it.. I love texting too, but for overseas friend, sticking to online forum or chat are cheaper alternatives.

Ahhh, same for me, bro. I love those second hand model types sometimes, because they are sometimes new and sold at a great bargain price. True2x.. calling overseas can be expensive, even with money, it's not that worth it. Thank you... I have one of those helmets at home. Take care yeah..

Hello zed, well, not necessarily new model or bought recently, it's second since my sister in law is getting a new phone this year. i really don't think that texting overseas is a bright idea unless it's really an emergency and you don't have enough funds to call. anyways, nice helmet, have a great day.

Congratulations on your new phone! That was a thoughtful gift from your brother! I am on a contract with my phone and it ends in March. I can’t wait to change providers because I have a lot of trouble using the phone from my house due to the fact that according to my current provider we live in a ‘black spot’ and therefore I continuously get cut off when I am talking which to say that it's annoying is an understatement! I can’t wait for my new phone and provider! I like texting but not that much, I’ll stick to chatting to you on MyLot! Enjoy your new cell!

hello paula, Yes, he's always been thoughtful, I never expect it from him since he's having crisis too. unless, the phone is no longer needed since the contract ended. i am happy though but i hope i could fix my other phone so that i could use that for my ice business. i agree we should just chat here in mylot.

Sorry I'm not giving out any personal info, but I wanted to say congrats on getting a new phone. Perhaps there are some ways to use your phone besides texting or calling. I use my phone to look at facebook, twitter, and surf the web. There are some really great applications for cell phones too. Perhaps you could download a game. Hope your social life picks up in the future, but in the meantime, just enjoy the solitude.

hello glords, don't be. I do believe that it's not allowed to disclose any personal information her. i did it once for good intentions, but sadly they deleted that post. i think it's general rule whether good or bad should not be allowed. but I am not into these twitter thing. well am actually talking to my friend on the phone. well, i do like solitude but sometime it gets bored

It is always so exciting to get a new phone. I can tell that you are much more excited about that than you would be for just another book. LOL. I'm personally not a big texter. In fact, the last time that I got a new phone, I did get one of the nicer phones with a QWERTY keyboard with the thought that I would be a much more frequent texter, but that hasn't happened. I hope that you are able to find some people to text with.

hello msfrancisco, I really don't have the right idea why i was depressed for two days. but one of teh reasons there probably was i really didn't have internet at that time and it was frustrating. didn't have any slightest idea why it went that long too. it's a good thing i wasn't expecting a phone like that. i hope one day i can give something in return too.

...no need for you to think of the future or "someday" that you can make it up to your brother or to give him a surprise too. start doing it now. simple surprises will do. text him every morning with good wishes for the day and end the day with a text too thanking God that your brother is fine and say goodnight!

That's nice, to have something new as a gift from someone very close to you in your family. Then again, its not that you can't contact your old friends anymore. You can still try if you want to. You can go to social networking sites that they are members of and then try to send them personal messages there, asking for their contact details. Here, I guess you'd get some members, pinoy members as you requested, to correspond with you through text messaging but, I guess they would prefer to send messages as well here through the personal message than on text. Its just an idea though. I mean, I wouldn't be able to compose a message this long if I would send it to you through text, right?

Well, since you know about what to expect and what to be careful about, I guess you can exactly do what you just stated there in your response

hello ratyz5, That's a great idea there ratyz. but trouble is, some can be anoying like sending quotes and probably bait your number for another scam in the mobile phone sending some text message that you won the lottery and stuff like that. so, i have to be careful. maybe i should give the announcement and then send a private message if they do want the number from me.

Well, congratulations on your new mobile phone. I think it is really surprising for you to receive such gift and I know that you are surely happy indeed. I think soon you will surely have a lot of text mates. Well, I would love to be one, but I am not into texting much considering that I am quite busy with work and would not be able to reply. So I hope you understand. Anyway, I wish you the best!

Hey Letran! Congrats on your new phone! I hope that you will get to meet some new friends if that's what you want, but I would be very careful about giving your phone number out to too many people. I don't know too much about the costs of texting on a cell phone since I don't use texting on my cell phone at all! But, whoever this person is that you want to text, I hope that they will see this discussion and you will get your wish! And please perk up! You are way to young to be so depressed! Save that for when you're older!

hello Opal, How are you, it's been a while. I agree with you there, it's dangerous now a days, knowing that some might take advantage and pretend to be some one else. it's the trend now so i try not to the new number so much. wow, i have learn something from you today. maybe i should try to be happy more often. i don't like to get older fast while am depressed. as of now am happy i got my internet back.

Hiya Letran, That´s a nice Brother you have there I think that´s really nice of him to buy you a present like that. I live too far away as well a long way away. Text messages to England cost me a bomb too but I have´nt texted anyone for ages. Having Brothers like that is really something.

23 Jan 10
hello there, Yes, he's a real nice guy, i just couldn't believe he would surprise me like that. i'd say that am blessed with a bro like him. oh, you're from englad, i think calls there are more cheaper than text. unlike here, we were actually considered text capital in the world. anyways, have a great day

Hiya Letran, Well I don´t know about the calls being cheaper but from where I am they are not. Afraid Yahoo Messenger works out cheaper both sides of the Ocean. But still there is nothing like your own private phone for whatever usage you give it.

hello there, Thanks a lot there andryan. well, like what i said before, it's too expensive to text some one overseas. it's not that new probably it was more than two years ago. I,actually live in the Philippines but that's not bad though. messenger is also a good place to communicate.
