What forgotten songs should I put on my iPod?

Every now and again I like to sit down and put a whole load of new songs on my iPod... so I'm looking for suggestions for great somgs from a few years back that I might have forgotten about, but that will really make me smile and sing along!
To point you in the right direction I'm a pop and rock kind of girl, and the last song that I recently 'rediscovered' was Everything About you by Ugly Kid Joe!!! Cheesy? Yes! Should I be ashamed to admit I like it? Probably Do I sing along to it in the car? Oooooooooh yes!!!!

Don't be embarrassed, I love old Madonna songs myself and old Whitney Houston songs. I always forget about old songs until I hear them and then I am like Oh Yeah! I love that song. I also like White Wedding Day from Billy Idol and Eye of the Tiger, and Black Cat by Janet Jackson I actually have not heard that one in quite a while. Songs by Heart are always awesome too.

And even better news, the day after I started this thread, I went to download some new songs... only to find I couldn't find the wire to connect my iPod... But I found it last night - so cheesy songs, here I come!

As for the songs - I LOVE Personal Jesus - excellent choice, and I've never heard the Deftones one, so time to give that a listen!
