Whilst IMAX and 3D will certainly become more common over the next year or so and prove not to be just the gimmick it was in the past. It won't be a case that all movies will feature this technology because many do not warrant it. I can see it being the reserve of those big budget movies which generally get released during the Summer and towards Christmas but otherwise normal cinema will be around for many years to come and will remain the norm.

Avatar has just set the trend of new line of digitally enhanced movies. I am very positive that future movies will apply the same technology Avatar has. If all movies will be 3D, I like that to happed especially in a wider screen like Imax but this would likely to happen in a more developed countries and piracy has been lowered to a level of negligibility. I hope in my country, the Philippines, if piracy will be totally annihilated then the movie industry will gain its power again and the good effect would be better movie investments thus the big malls would then shift to Imaxes(3Ds). I would love that to happen. I thinks all will follow if phones will be made of holograms and hologram technology in 3D has already dominated the world. Or, vice versa, IMAX then Hologram technology. That's it. thanks.
