No that picture was the picture that came up under the call center category when I started the discussion under that interest. But the one I'll be working in there are a lot of work stations too.
The call center I will be working at is an in-bound call center, taking calls from customers to start accounts, activate XM radios, and other customer service related calls from XM customers.

Good luck valerie! I'm glad to hear someone has a job in this economy! I wish Results Galax was here, I'd apply myself. Were you out of work?

Thanks Kashmeresmycat. I guess I just lucked up that there was a place hiring here. I know Results and XM both have other call centers than just here in Galax, VA

So far its going great. Although I guess it's easy to say that when it's just two days into the training.

Thanks. I'm trying best, and so far so good. Although it can be a little confusing.

So how is it going so far?
I used to work at a call center for an opinion pole company. Most of the time, it was great. Some days not so great. People can be mean and grouchy. But many people were wonderful and wanted their opinions counted.

Through next week we're still in training classes. So right now it's still pretty good. Just a lot to have to learn.

Yes, I hear you. Some of these jobs now-a-days. It's like you have to learn so much, you think your head will explode!
Good luck and keep us up on what's going on. Maybe we can share some call center stories as time goes on. Take care

I would like a call centre job too. How long does your training last before you get into a paid position? Good luck with it.

The training classes are for two weeks. But the good thing is you even get paid during the training classes also.
