How many of you have used a wedding planner, and are they valuable to your wedding plans? They can save a lot of time, stress and money but is their anything you would like to change about your planner?

I don't believe wedding planners are really that necessary. It is just a way for rich people to spend more money. I had been married before. I planned and coordinated everything. Every decision of the wedding of what cake I'd get, to the food, the music, the location, photography, was all picked by me. I was very organized and there was no last minute changes that had to be changed because I forgot. However, wedding planner books are good to have, they have checklists of things that you'll need for the wedding. Knowing that I had planned it all and it turned out very well and it gave me a sense of pride and satisfaction because I did it. And it is your own wedding. Without a wedding planner you won't have anybody trying to convince you to have something in your wedding that you don't want. After all, it is your day. . .If you are very organized like I was it isnt't stressful at all. I had gotten everything in order a couple months before the big day.
