I have being very busy. I have crocheted 8 hats and two pairs of fingerless gloves. I love to crochet, but normally I crochet one probably two items in one month. I am currently finishing up a hat that should be completed by tomorrow. I am probably going to start a baby blanket next. I was curious anyone have any crochet completed projects already this year.

I haven't even started any crocheting this year. I think I overdid it last year because I crocheted an Afghan square blanket for my daughter and her boyfriend for Christmas. It was only a small blanket, but I didn't have much time to get it finished. I am going to start on a crocheted rug soon though.

I can't get my hubbie to part with his worn out t-shirts to make one, I keep slipping them from the laundry as I can. I made a rug from old terry cloth tablecloths, it's too heavy but I liked it. I'm working on a rug made with plastic bags, it too is a lot of work cutting them into strips but I enjoy it.

I have made several in the past out of old cut up T-shirts. They are brilliant because they are washable, they cost nothing to make, and it's all recycled. It does take a long time to cut the shirts into strips though!

No not yet, as I an trying to decide what I want to make next, then of course there is the project of picking all the colors and pattern that I will use.

Keeping busy can be a good thing. My brother passed away in December, and he was like my best friend, and i had to try and take my mind off of it anyway I could.

Wow! I thought I was a crochet fanatic--well done venshida! So far I've finished a rug, in wiggle crochet, and I'm presently working on another rug using plastic bags. I have some baby stuff on the "to do" list, plus some slippers, if I can find a pattern I like, another wiggle crochet rug and some tote bags from plastic bags. I'm hooked on the wiggle crochet rugs, they're great and comfy to stand on.
Lately I've been on the computer a lot more than usual, I've had to reformatt twice and now I have to re-install everything. UGH! Crochet is my passion, I can't stop.

I think you are more fanatic than me. I'm still working on the plastic bag rug, but I have been working on the computer a lot. I've had at least 7 Trojans this evening. I think I'm being targeted. I had to do a system restore, next I'll be reformatting, again.
Anyhow, I'm nearly done with the rug, I'm only going as far as the cut plastic will take me. I'm itching to start some slippers, I enjoy making them. I just wish I could find a pattern I like, most of what I've seen aren't to my taste. I've made some from my own pattern, a make it up as you go deal.
Uh, gotta go, the parakeet wants to play, I'm trying to get her to bond with me so I can't pass up this chance.
Happy stitching!

I am still working on a granny square afghan I started sometime ago. I usually a lot better at finishing my crocheting and knitting projects but got a bit lazy lol. So I am stop doing that and just hop to it. I also plan to crochet a few amigurumi animals too. A co-worker of mine email me some really cute patterns that I want to try.

This might be the case. When it comes to small and medium projects I am usually working on it. This is my first time trying to make an afghan. I also think during the week it is hard for me to get the energy to work on it since after working all day and then coming home to cook dinner, I am spent lol. But I am going motivate myself to keep on crocheting it. I need something to de-stress.

venshida,
I'm still learning how to crochet! I haven't crocheted anything this year, but had last year. I'm planning on crocheting up some granny squares and making a blanket out of them sometime though.
