I'm going to be getting a 2010 Hyundai Elantra GLS. The sticker price was $22,000.00 but i talked them down to $14,988.000! So i think i a m getting a pretty good deal. The car has a good track record and stuff so its cool.
Would you buy a new car if you could?
Do you think i should wait?
I guess i just need reassurance!

Hello Jennifer Lee,
Wow, thats a good price. You'll have to share your secrets with me so I know how to get them to lower the price on this GM SUV I like lol.
Well if its the car you want, if it suits you and you test drive it and you like it. Id say, call your insurance company to be sure about how much its going to cost you. Then read some reviews on that specific car and if all is good. Its up to you. Im told now is a great time to buy cars.
Hope this could help you.

Thanks! I talked them down by calling another dealer in front of them the next town over and said right to both of them who ever gives me the best price is the one that will gt my business! so it went fro 22,000 to 18,000 to 16,999, to 15,999, to 14,989!
It is a good time to buy a car thats why i started looking! i dont think there would be the kind of deals around if the economy was good right now. You can get some great deals on 2009 cars right now!
i did look the car up and it looks good to me!

I feel like this is more of a personal decision rather than a group one. If I had the money for a new car and could talk someone down to a price that low, I'd take it. However, it would have to have good MPG and would have to suite me perfectly. If you are looking for a new car and it has good MPG and it suites you, than I say go ahead.

Hi,
Thank you for your post. I dont love the car but i like it a lot... it is really nice and has a great track record and is at a great price now. It also come with a 10 year warranty which is awesome! Its not a car that when i saw it i was like omg i have to have it... i went home looked up stuff about it and liked it more after that. Its not like my first choice but i think its the smartest!

My husband and I were going to get a car but then I lost my job so now we can't get a car atleast until we've saved up a little more money. I want to get a job and hubby's trying to find a different job that pays a little more and is third shift. I wouldn't buy a new car but it's all dependant on a person's wants, needs and money. I can't say that your decision was a bad one, only you can, but I hope your enjoying the car.

Normally I prefer one year old cars due to the fact that the car looses value as soon as you drive it of the lot. But for $15,000. I would buy the Hyundai. It's a good price fora new car. OK a Hyundai isn't fancy or cool, but it will get you from point A to point B without problems.
